We typically recommend our small business clients purchase APC UPSes, but these are so much more cost effective. The website support is pretty slim and there are no updates nor technical documentation. But if you're using this with a standard desktop machine, it should work well. We could not get it to work with the Buffalo LinkStation Pro USB shutdown feature - but they may be an issue with Buffalo. Was this review helpful?

We're trying some of these out for a new business client. I typically go with APC UPSes, but these are a lot less expensive. So far, they work well with Windows XP and Windows Vista. Was this review helpful?

Especially in our old house, where the quality of the electrical wires can be suspect, it insulates the expensive equipment from over and under voltages. Haven't had a power outage, but spring's coming, so I'm sure it'll be tested.
I'll echo the fact that it's smaller than it looks (if you're not good at taking the dimensions and visualizing the space), fits nicely behind the LCD TV, out of the way. Eight outlets are great, with the TV, PS3, receiver and cable box on the battery, with the kid's Wii, a media PC, external DVD-R and a 1TB HD on the surge side. Replaceable batteries, a nice warranty and Buy.com's usual great shipping price/time sealed the deal. Was this review helpful?

I bought two of these and they are awesome! For a battery back-up, these sure are nice to look at! I'm a sucker for lights and LCD screens, and the fact that this has a great looking (and actually useful) display on the unit is a bonus. The supplied software and set-up is excellent. Options on the back are outstanding. I'm actually looking forward to the first power outage to see how well it works! Thought my system would put more of a load on it, but in normal use with a 22" LCD monitor, Q6600-based PC with a 9800 GTX+ video card, 4 GB RAM, and a host of other items, the pull is showing as only 211w. I'll have to look at it during a gaming session, but pretty sweet! Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good value Monday, November 24, 2008 Brad from Murphys, CA
CyberPower makes excellent quality UPS batteries. This is one of their higher end models that is suitable for gaming computers and other heavy power demand gear. Buy.com's shipping cost for a 25lb item is very cheap making the value even better. Was this review helpful?

runs my 37" lcd tv and xbox 360 with an estimated battery time of 20 minutes. tv and xbox output are both around 200 watts. Tv alone, the estimated time is around 40 minutes. Great time for these products. Very satisfied. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent UPS for the price Sunday, July 13, 2008 A Customer from McKinney, Tx
Has worked terrific since I plugged it in. Already held up my 50" plasma through two power interuptions caused by lightining. Thinking about buying another. Was this review helpful?

I did some research for a good low cost UPS for my home network. The only one under $150 with the features I wanted was the Cyber Systems CP1350AVRLCD. I especially like the LCD display, gives you a quick indication of the remaining UPS time based on the current load. Setup was a breeze. Just remember to charge it overnight prior to using. Overall I give this a solid 5 stars. Was this review helpful?

I like this unit a LOT. It is smaller than it appears in the advertisement, so don't be expecting some sort of huge tower. I use backup units on all my $$ equipment, makes them last longer.

A wonderful device. I purchased it for my home entertaiment center. It will run my 42" LCD TV, Bose 3-2-1, Satelite DVR, PS3, Router, DSL modem for 13 minutes. Turn of the TV, PS3, BOSE, and it will run the DVR, Modem and router for ~120 minutes (I didn't test that one. Wasn't gonna wait 2 hours, but that's the estimate on the LCD display).
I'll be getting another one for the computer. Was this review helpful?

The LCD panel is very helpful. Without the LCD panel, I would never know how reliable my UPS is (I would wonder "does my battery need to be replaced, and how long will the battery last in an outage?"). The panel turns off after about 30 seconds (I assume to save energy?) and can be seen again by pressing the button under the panel. Keep pressing the button and you will see more info (input volts, output volts, output Hz, output Kw, % of load capacity, % of battery capacity, estimated time remaining). I received the UPS from buy.com about ten days ago. Our power went out yesterday and this UPS kept my dual 2.3 GHz Mac, 23" LCD HD Cinema Display, and router running for 25 minutes. Granted, I didn't use the computer much in those 25 minutes. It was interesting to see the "estimated time remaining" drop by about ten minutes when I actually used the computer during the power outage. The UPS is plugged into my Mac via USB and, based on my settings in System Preferences, the UPS shut down my computer when 5 minutes remained or the battery had 15% life remaining, whichever came first. When the power was restored, the battery charged within 8 hours (the computer and peripherals were on during the charge). One complaint: only 1 wide/transformer outlet. I wish they would space ALL the outlets wider to give the consumer the most options. It also would be nice if I had the option to keep the LCD on permanently. Was this review helpful?

The product works well but I bought it because the product image showed an LCD display that shows voltage which is a handy thing to have in Ca. But, the display does not stay lit up. You have to push a button to see the display. This makes it very unhandy for the main reason I bought the unit. Was this review helpful?

Unit was delivered quickly; no setup time. We plugged it in and charged for 24 hours and have been using it since. Works as advertised. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great for the SOHO Monday, January 07, 2008 A Customer from Bridgewater, NJ
I bought this UPS for my home office and its great value for money. The USB UPS monitoring works great for my Network Attached Storage (NAS). The built-in LCD display provides excellent power related statistics.
Compare this with APC models and you'll see this is one good buy. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A great backup power system for your computer Wednesday, November 28, 2007 rogermg from Santa Monica, CA
This backup unit performs beautifully, has very useful information readily available on its digital display. And it is very compact.
Has plenty of power to allow you to safely shut down your computer in the event of a power failure. Was this review helpful?

I live in SW FL and the electricity here is horrible. Constant under voltages and short 1-10 second black outs at least twice a month. Since I work from home I needed a UPS to protect valuable work information.
My old UPS had reached the end of its useful life and instead of replacing the battery, I choose to purchase this. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. This is an excellent product, and I highly recommend it. I've had it for about 3 months now, and there have been about 4 under voltages and 10 situations of no power in that time. It powered my gaming computer, 17inch lcd monitor, speakers, and router flawlessly every time. All of the above is a constant load of about 150-200 watts, and it displays that I would have 30-23 min of run time depending on the amount of watts I am using.
This product is just as good as more expensive units, and I recommend purchasing it. Was this review helpful?

I have owned this UPS for two (2) months and it works great! The display is a nice touch (load function, input/output voltage, battery life, etc). I have not used the software as I turn the UPS on/off and personally monitor it when using my computer. My other UPS is an APC which I have used for four (4) years with no problems. The CyberPower was bought as a upgrade replacment. The “CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series UPS CP1350AVRLCD” is better than the new APC LCD units because of the "Voltage trim & boost" so that the battery is not needed for voltage regulation. 5 of 5 Love those Cyberpower UPS's Saturday, September 08, 2007 Marcus from Cape Canaveral, Florida
And Cyberpower warrants their batteries for 3 years along with the rest of the unit, so you're covered! They'll advance-ship you the replacement batteries and I believe they didn't even want the old batteries back. Love those Cyberpower UPS's. Was this review helpful?

This equipment was a breeze to set up and has power to spare. It worked well right out of the box. It is far less costly than comparable models of other manufacturers. Was this review helpful?
