The portable speakers give decent sound and decent volume for such a small unit. I travel and use them with my portable Creative Labs Zen - they work nicely in a hotel room. They are not loud. There is no volume control or on/off switch. The volume is controlled by your MP3 player volume and the unit goes on/off when you plug in the headphone jack from your MP3 player. Good value. Good sound quality given the size. This is still really best for personal listening, though. I gave it a 4 because sound quality is limited but still good. Design gets a 5. Compact, fits in case with my MP3 player. Arrived fully charged, can be used right out of the box. Very clever using a coin as a stand. I keep the quarter in the case. I use the speaker for travel, so nice to listen to music, audio books, etc in hotel room without plugs stuck in ears. Was this review helpful?

I have two ipods, Touch 2G and Video 5th Gen. This works with both
iPods and I also use it for my laptop speaker. It's small and the sound quality is decent. This speaker has a built-in rechargeable battery and I especially like the coin stand feature. Was this review helpful?
