 Editor's Note
Six ordinary people (student, ex-con, engineer, social worker, cop, mentally handicapped) are trapped in a maze of interlocking cubes with no apparent way out. They have no recollection of how they got there or why they were chosen. They have no food or water and upon further investigation discover some of the rooms are booby trapped with creative devices of destruction. After the initial panic, they come to realize that each person possesses a unique ability which may aid in their safe navigation through the rooms and a possible escape. Can they overcome personal conflict and work together? Interesting set design, moody lighting, and creative computer generated imagery add to the claustrophobic feeling of Vincenzo Natali's film, which was a hit at several festivals in 1997.

5 of 5 AWESOME TO THE THIRD POWER! Friday, January 17, 2003 w00t! from Delaware
This movie is something that everyone should watch, simply because it makes you think what mankind is coming too. The way all those different people trapped in this mind boggling puzzle and how they have to deal to get out is amazing. The movies' ending left alot to be desired, but the journey to that ending was fabulous. One of my favorate films ever! Was this review helpful?

While the plot was good, and the acting overall was okay, the ending seemed so completely and utterly dissappointing that it became infuriating. You'd be doing yourself a favor by not see this movie. You'll like it, but I guarantee the ending, the way they rap it up, sucks. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 very good film! Friday, November 26, 1999 rregensb from Utrecht/Utrecht
Although many questions remain. thought the movie was brilliant! Sad to say the region 2 version was
released as a 4:3 version with subtitels encoded in the movie itself! I'm now looking for the region 1 version (widescreen)

5 of 5 Awesome Movie! Thursday, October 28, 1999 David Ashman from K-Falls, Oregon
I must see. Just when you think you've figured it out something unexpected happens. Very thought provoking. Younger viewers probably won't understand it at all. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 The meek shall inherit the Earth. Friday, July 02, 1999 docholliday79 from Frederick, MD
The plot draws you into the story, keeping you thinking, and trying to stay a step ahead of the characters. I haven't seen such a brilliantly creative and suspensful film like this in a while. It reminded me of a Star Trek: TNG episode. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A math movie for a thinking audience Monday, June 07, 1999 Jeff Clark ~ debaser from Montgomery, AL
This is a beautifully produced movie. The set is unique, imaginative and ominous. Oh yeah, it also has a lot of math in it. I've enjoyed it and so has nearly everyone else who has seen it at my home. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Not too shabby Friday, June 04, 1999 Jmolion from Howell, NJ
This movie could have been one of the greats, but it was all buildup with no real payoff at the end! I was a little bit shocked by Quentins behaviour. Nicole DeBoer was Phenomenal! She is too sweet! Was this review helpful?
