| | | | The Grand Scale iPod Home Stereo System features two satellite speakers, each pumping two 2 inch high fidelity speakers and a dome tweeter that are enclosed in a sound chamber designed to maximize sound output.
The heart of the sound is produced by an 8 inch high powered subwoofer which has a maximum output of 150 watts. Everything is controlled by the center console, either by its manual controls or by the full function remote. The remote can play, pause, stop, forward, reverse, skip and change play modes as well as adjust the volume, treble, bass and mids. The stands have a cable management system to prevent lose wires and provide an attractive appearance that will compliment any room setting.
The center console can be utilized by either placing it on the stand or on a shelf for optimal flexibility. The Grand Scale will work with and charge any iPod with a dock connector including the new iPod with Video and nano.

This system was easy to assemble and set up, and the speakers emit the most beautiful rendition of the music on my iPod. It is such a pleasure to listen to my favorite songs; my living room feels like a symphony hall. The only disappointment is that the system is not charging my iPod (nano 4th-gen.) and, when I sent a message through CTA's home page and by E-mail to inquire about the problem, I was ignored. Thus, I am left to try to find a remedy to that problem on my own. Was this review helpful?
