5 of 5 Great little transmitter- Great value for price Saturday, April 05, 2008 Mary M from Phila.,Pa
I bought one of these a year ago for my husband when he got an MP3 for christmas. It took a little bit of playing with to get a correct station but when he found it the transmitter works great. Once in awhile when he is in an area with a lot of other electrical stuff he gets static. I suppose if he changed the frequency maybe that would stop but it only lasts a few minutes until he is out of that area so he doesn't bother to change it. He is so satisfied with it that I bought another one a few months ago for my grandson & now one for me. I don't know about my grandson's but mine works great too. I would highly recommend this transmitter Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Reasonable Performance Thursday, December 27, 2007 Don Baun from Pittsburgh, PA
I found the unit worked okay in my car, but I often needed to place it in the door handle nearest my car's external antenna. Interference was occassionally a problem, but that may have been more the result of my particular car, as it has functioned better elsewhere.
Overall it seems to work well, and is a useful, functional way to get your music over your car's radio. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Works but not a good range Sunday, September 02, 2007 Don Baun from Pittsburgh, PA
The product works as advertised, but it has a very limited range. I found I needed to put it in the armrest near the antenna to keep the static out. Also, during silent portions there is a small amount of noise, almost like tape hiss.
In the end, if you want an inexpensive way to play your MP3s over the radio and aren't expecting top-notch sound, this item is great for you. If you're the kind who expects a perfect product you paid peanuts for, look elsewhere. Was this review helpful?

range of at least 100 feet Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Poor quality Monday, August 06, 2007 John Sweeney from Pittsburgh, PA
Very difficult to adjust DIP switches to change frequency - type was so small even my 14 year old could not read it.
Waste of money- and was on vacation as 14 day return expired...found a Radio Shack, and bought the one I should have to begin with - works great.

5 of 5 What a bargain Thursday, July 05, 2007 Paulie from Chicago, IL
Great product. Why spend hundreds on a new car stereo when you can use your own MP3 player on your current stereo with this great accessory. Works great, sounds great and so easy. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 FM transmitter for mp3 devices car vs home stereo Thursday, June 28, 2007 Jacque from Austin, AR
This is easy to use but . . . I bought this as I do not have a mp3 hook up in my 2002 Maxima. The device works well for a few miles until you get close enough to let another station begin to "bleed" into and static becomes a problem. I then tried in in my home stereo system; it works much better there. However I prefer my battery powered speakers (that I just plug into my mp3 player) to this device. Hopefully others will have better luck than I did. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good Value Thursday, June 28, 2007 Steven from Houston TX
Easy setup, batteries included. Good value and decent sound quality. Only downfall is limited range. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Value Thursday, June 28, 2007 A Customer from Brick, NJ
Good FM transmitter for the money! Most I looked at cost much more. Use in the car with my MP3 player. No problem with range. Has about 12 prest frequencies. (6 low, 6 high). A little difficult to change on the fly however. Best bet is to find a good frequency and leave it there. Uses 2 AAA batteries (one set included). Was this review helpful?
