5 of 5 poped it in, and boom- more performance. Saturday, May 03, 2008
Luke Pack from Dixon, IL
well it's ram, it's super cheap (funny how the cost of ram being so cheap can make a new computer cost the same as a used on off of **ay). It has not failed me yet and has been heavily used.

3 of 5 Crucial = Samsung? Tuesday, April 22, 2008
A Customer from Micron
I purchased this 2GB stick for my laptop. It seems to work fine but i dont think it is crucial memory. The packing says crucial but there are 2 lables on the memory, one side says crucial, the other says samsung. When using CPU-Z to see who manufactures the memory it says samsung. I contacted crucial who didnt have much to say about this. Anyway it seems to work fine. Maybe this was just a manufacturing mixup. Has anyone else had this problem. I always buy crucial memory. In the past 10 years i have NEVER had a problem with there memory.

5 of 5 Crucial is one of the BEST Tuesday, February 12, 2008
A Customer from Tampa, FL
I've used Crucial a couple of times for both PC & Mac and have never had a problem with the quality. They also have a lifetime warranty. I put two of these 2GB stick in my new 24" alum. iMac and it works like a charm. Buy.com usually has rebates making it cheaper to buy from Crucial memory from Buy.com instead of directly through crucial.com.

5 of 5 Big performance boost in a tiny package Wednesday, January 30, 2008
A Customer from Cleveland, Ohio
Picked up two of these for a new MacBook and saw an immediate improvement in performance overall. Price, with rebate, was reasonable. Shipping was fast (albeit a little pricy). With RAM as cheap as this, it just makes sense to max out when getting a new machine.

Great product. Installed it myself in my son's Gateway laptop which only came with 0.5GB of RAM, and he's happy... what more can one say?

5 of 5 Works Great!!! Saturday, January 26, 2008
Rich from Santa Barbara, CA
I bought this for my Macbook Pro to upgrade my existing 1.5 GB of memory to 3 GB. However when I first installed the new memory, it wouldn't start up when I combined it with my 1GB memory I had previously in there. So, I took the 1 GB memory out, and am running solely on this 2 GB memory, and it started up no problem. So, I decided to order another for a total of 4 GB of memory. So far so good, no problems, and my computer is noticeably faster! And on top of that, you cant beat this amazing price!

5 of 5 Product, company, price - all good Friday, January 25, 2008
PreserveThe2nd from Newport, Wash.
As usual, a laptop is not sold with enough RAM memory to do a proper job - especially using Vista. I increased my RAM memory by buying two of the 2 gb RAM cards bringing my memory level up to 4 gb total. My 2 gb of old memory to be given away. I contacted Crucial and they were extremely helpful in making sure this was the proper memory for my laptop. Their website also has a form to use that lets you locate your computer and the memory that would work with it. Both procedures worked well. The price was extremely competitive and lower than most. I highly recommend Crucial and Buy.com (which I use fairly often).

5 of 5 Now with more memory I will forget what I'm doing Thursday, January 17, 2008
A Customer from Knoxville, TN
I own a Lenovo 3000 N100. Installing this memory stick went very easily. I use Kubuntu Linux which has a built in memory tester which I ran with no issues at all. The OS immediately recognized the full 2 Gigs in one slot. Hopefully, there will be a BIOS upgrade permitting a total of 4 Gigs so I can buy another one of these sticks.

5 of 5 Great Price to upgrade a Macbook Pro Wednesday, January 16, 2008
rw from Indianapolis, IN
Great ram and it works perfect with my Macbook Pro, versus the apple update price of $700 for 4GB, I'll happily pay $120 with a rebate... And shipping was great as well, I had it installed in minutes.

5 of 5 Easy and quick Wednesday, January 16, 2008
A Customer from Gaithersburg, Maryland
Installed in ACER laptop that already had 1GB memory with Vista Home Premium. Installation was very easy to install (< 5 minutes). System recognized additional memory immediately. Noticable improvement in performance. As always Buy.com was very quick to ship.

5 of 5 Computer Energizer Wednesday, January 09, 2008
Robert from Huntington Beach, CA
I upgraded my Asus gaming computer from 2G to 4G of memory and noticed increased performance though Vista only will see and use 3G of memory. Price I thought was great till I saw the next week after receiving the memory that Buy.com was selling same memory without rebate cheaper than I bought with rebate. I guess it does pay to wait and contemplate purchases! Be that as it may I will continue to shop with Buy.com with great customer service, quick delivery and tremendous selection of products.

Upgraded my iMac 2006 in 20 minutes using this ram. Contacted Crucial before purchase to verify that this is fully compatible with my iMac. The upgrade allows me to take advantage of the full 3 GB possible in my iMac.

5 of 5 Excellent Price for an Excellent Product Friday, November 30, 2007
James from Espanola, New Mexico
I bought two of these right away for my laptop to max it out at 4GB. was an excellent price at the time. NOTE: if you plan on using more than 3GB of RAM in your computer with windows you must use Windows XP 64Bit Edition to see all of the RAM.

5 of 5 Excellent RAM Friday, November 30, 2007
A Customer from Chicago, IL
I purchased two 2GB SODIMMs for my 2.2GHz 15" MacBook Pro (only the newer ones support 4GB of RAM). Installation was trivially easy. Windows Memory Diagnostic reported that the RAM was ok. I would recommend the upgrade for anyone who would like to max out their notebook RAM.
