Francis Rizzo, III, DVD Talk "The show is fast paced, written intelligently and is visually pleasing to boot. All in all it's damn good entertainment." Jon Jordan, Crimespree Cinema "...a few points going for it: Mandy Patinkin's onscreen magnetism; some truly eerie episodes; and a smartness that it wears on its sleeve." Phil Gallo, Variety "The easiest way to describe it is as the TV series version of "Silence of the Lambs," and it's almost as grisly." Ross Ruediger, Bullz-Eye
 Editor's Note
This popular show follows a group of FBI agents as they go inside the minds of vicious murderers. With Emmy-winner Mandy Patinkin (CHICAGO HOPE) playing a star behavior analyst, these profilers try to solve mysteries by delving into the psychology of serial killers and terrorists. In addition to Patinkin, CRIMINAL MINDS stars Thomas Gibson as the group's leader. Several of the group's members are able to offer special insight into specific cases: Lola Glaudini's character understands sexually related crimes, and Shemar Moore's agent helps to solve crimes of obsession. Matthew Gray Gubler plays a young agent whose social skills don't quite match his high level of intelligence. Offering insight into both real and fictional crimes, this show is an essential for drama devotees. This release includes the complete second season of the series.

| | Professional Reviews | Variety 8 of 10 Police procedural dramas in which a dark force haunts a brilliant investigative mind reaches the saturation point with the Eye network's latest FBI skein "Criminal Minds." It has a few points going for it: Mandy Patinkin's onscreen magnetism; some truly eerie episodes; and a smartness that it wears on its sleeve...All the characters are well read and versed in pop culture as they reference and quote Samuel Beckett, Mao Tse Tung, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Yoda. It gives the show a fun little edge to go along with the special effects that give "Minds" a bit an extra zing. Richard Shepard's poised direction sharply frames Jeff Davis' cut-and-dry script. - Phil Gallo
