This is a superb mp3 player with excellent video/photo capabilities. Mp3s loaded very quickly, and I love the ability to easily create on-the-fly playlists. Lots of cool play features, like Album of the Day, Most Popular, Rarely Heard, etc. The video quality is top-notch, though beware how quickly the battery gets drained while watching videos. Other than battery life, I have no complaints other than the occasional lockup (easy reboot button on bottom). Sure, I wish it was smaller, but it's not too big and fits easily in a front shirt pocket. I recommend (1) some sort of silicone case, (2) the power charger, and (3) the screen protector. Overall, a powerful, excellent player.

The picture quality is perfect. The sound is great (I added Sony earbuds medium priced) and the Zen Vision M is very easy to use. I purchased an accessory pack from Ebay which had silicone covers, wall and car chargers, a lanyard and screen protector. It was very reasonable. The one thing that could be improved is the guide book. It doesn't tell you how to convert and load videos and the included software didn't work for that. iriverter is a great free software download that is easy to use and works great for the Zen. It reads and converts to your hard drive and then is easily transferred to the Zen with the included software. I downloaded several e-books, meditation cd's, etc. from my local library free. I've also added home movie clips, photos, movies, and training DVD's as well as tons of music. I absolutely love it and am now getting to watch many training DVD's that I hadn't gotten around to by using it out and about while killing time and when on the treadmill/elliptical trainer. A must have!

Great color screen with FM Radio and Microphone which really come in handy but not nearly as user friendly as the iPod. Only switched to the Zen because of iPod firmware(software) problems. So basically if you can deal with not having radio and microphone, go with the iPod.

I love my new Creative device. The video is crisp and clear, the music sounds great, even from the factory headphones that are provided. Right out of the box, it gets a little hard to get used to. The buttons are a bit sensitive and the inward control is the only truly touch activated control. A little bulky, this may turn some people off but for me it was perfect. I like to feel a little weight inn those type of things so that you don't forget its there in your pocket when you lay down or when doing anything that would break it, such as doing something in the military, which I am. The software that comes with it is sooooo much better than itunes also. It organizes everything perfectly. All and all I love it.

Plus: tons of space for music, audio books, photos. The software actually is quite impressive, to my surprise. Minuses? One time I must have hit too many buttons too quickly and it bombed out and had to be reset. Only happened the one time and I use it for hours and hours every day. I definately need a regular charger for this. When your Zen is plugged into the USB it does have an affect on the PC. Or just set it up to charge overnight when you are not on the PC.

Better value than iPod. Easy drag and drop to manage your files. The color screen, sound quality, and overall ease of use is wonderful. I'm very happy with this product.

I got my Creative Vision M maybe a month ago and this is THE thing. I fits tons of music, you can edit everything you want with the software that comes with it. Easy to download, just drag and drop from PC. I haven't put a video in there yet but the image quality is amazing. No wonder it kicks i-Pod video's butt...I also bough a silicone case and a wall charger for it, for very cheap and it works fantastic. You would think it's a huge MP3 player but whebever you get to see it, it's not huge at all. Overall, I recommend it!!! Great buy!!

Pros: 1. Very good screen display 2. Very good sound for music/movies 3. Good battery life 4. Large hard-drive will hold lots of music, pictures, and movies 5. Easy to use software to manage content: Windows will also recognise it as an external hard-drive when 'docked' (connected to PC via USB) Cons: 1. Manual incomplete so in order to find how certain things are done you have to call/email customer support where you will not alway get the needed answer the first time.

A very good mp3 player. Tons of room. Lots of features. Works flawlessly. What more can you want? It has a mic and you can record radio. Easy to use.

I used to have the Creative Zen Xtra, not a bad mp3 player for on-the-road but the screen was darker, the 'shuffling' quality was so-so, it took a while to shut down, etc... I bought the Creative Zen Vision M (Blue) and have been loving it ever since. Better response capability, better output, better shuffle quality. I can read the screen when driving, although I wouldn't recommend it when things get hairy on the freeway. ;) My one gripe is that now (like the Ipod) there's no removable backplate. So, if the battery goes you'll have to send it to Creative to replace--and that, my friends, is a RIP. I can only hope Creative is more reasonable than Apple when it comes to battery replacement. Otherwise I'm pretty satisified with the purchase. By the way, did I mention it's blue? Beats the black version since the black cover scuffs and shows fingerprints a tad too much. UNLESS you get one of those durable skins to slip it into, then it doesn't really matter what color it is.
