It's a very small and handy player. Just that the internal battery may not run as long as it states. It lasts about 10 hours or so at most, rather than 10+ hours. Overall, it's a pretty good unit. Was this review helpful?

I had my doubts about this item when I first read some of the comments written by others, but I have to make my own conclusions and decisions, so I took the chance and bought the player. No regrets. It is fairly easy to use and setup, has not crashed on me and with the rebate, it was economical enough for me to purchase. It has very decent sound and with a set of noise canceling headphones, it rocks on the NYC subway system. Plus 4 GB of music is plenny 'nuff for an old school jazz, blues and rock aficionado like me. If you don't want to watch movies on a 1.5 inch screen, this model gives you a great display and ability to watch pictures while you listen to your tunes. No video or FM but we already have a radio and portable DVD player. Was this review helpful?

Used the Zen V for one week on a car vacation. After 5 days of listening, the device would only boot into the record mode. After an hour of manipulating the reset button, I was somehow able to get the thing to work for about one more week. It then locked into the record mode again. This time, in spite of all my efforts, I could not get it into play mode. I called Creative support and they ultimately asked me to return it, which I did. I was sent a replacement and since then it has been fine. I like the way it works, as long as it works. Was this review helpful?

I have owned several mp3's Creative Zen Touch 20gig, 2 Rio's and a mp3 phone Nokia 6255i. This is as good or better than any I have owned or heard. The size sold me what can I say I am VERY HAPPY and would buy it all over again if something happened to this one. I used my Buy.com credit card and saved $30.00 that just made it that much better.
