I've had this case for about a month and it is quite scratched up, but this is a good thing. It takes a lot of abuse in my purse, and my Zen is in like-new condition as a result. It doesn't effect the screen visibility because I don't notice the scratches when it is on. Using the controls is very easy and I have had no problems with the headphone jack. Additionally, the case prevents the Zen from turning on accidently if I don't set the lock. The back easily slides open to expose the SD card. My coworker just ordered one with her new Zen because I kept raving about it. Was this review helpful?

Upon receiving the case, I simply slipped in onto my Zen with ease. I now, always have it on and it does a good job protecting it. However, one thing I did notice was that the back panel which slides off in order to take the case off if one needs to (you will to get at the memory card slot) sometimes slides off a bit on its own. There is no catch to keep it in place, but simply stays by way of friction. However, I've never dropped it and then had the back panel come off, thereby exposing the Zen, so, perhaps this is a non issue. Was this review helpful?

Well designed, but a little bulky, doubling the thickness of the player. It is quite sturdy and probably won't break. The quality key chain loop is convenient. There is barely enough room to operate the buttons with my big fingers, but I can. It makes it easier to find the button by feel when driving. Like others, I had trouble figuring out how to open it the first time (don't read instructions). Was this review helpful?

Received the item and immediately put it on. Fits good. Makes it a little hard to reach buttons but all-in-all it is OK. The plastic does scratch easy but figure it can be polished out if it gets to bad.

This case is constructed very well, although I had trouble at first figuring out how to open it. The back slides off all the way, you place the Zen in the front, then slide the back on again (be sure it's in the groove - it should slide easily, and click softly when it's closed). One thing I do not like is that the case applies pressure to the Zen's screen in spots, creating black marks. Removing the case back and reseating the Zen doesn't help. The pressure spots only appear when the Zen is in the case; thus far, it doesn't seem to have damaged the player's screen. All in all, good value for the money.

I bought this case because after receiving my zen I noticed that I had 2 issues. 1. I was worried about scratching it. 2. I wanted a kickstand view to watch videos. This product delivered on both counts and is very sturdy. I have dropped my zen twice and one time I even shattered the whold clear case. I just put it back together and it worked great...
Also when you purchase this a quick tip. Don't try to force open the case so you can put the zen in it. You must slide it the case off from the side. Was this review helpful?
