I was looking for speakers for my ipod for a while and came across this one. the price was right and the reviews seem to fit what i wanted. I as so surprised when i got these speakers bc they were crazy loud and the sound was crisp. It was well worth the price compared to the bose i have at home. GReat Buy! I bought this item 3 months back. It worked fine for first month but now started making an echoing sound whenever we increase the volume. Its very annoying and I don't use the speakers any more.

Wow! I expected to be pleased based on the other reviews I read, but I was blown away. This thing could almost fit into a large pocket, runs on 4 "AAA" batteries or AC power, and is a perfect way to amplify any portable music player, or even a laptop w/weak built-in speakers. I bought this for some family of ours that is moving overseas & needed a good teaching aid/tool for the classroom. It also needed to be ultra-portable since they could only take so much with them. Perfect!
The only con I could find was the lack of a "click" response from the volume buttons. The buttons work fine, I just like that little tactile feedback telling me I've done something. Was this review helpful?

The perfect companion in a business trip or just to hear some music while your are in any room of your house. Just connect it to your phone or MP3 player and is done.
I recommend you to also buy a pack of rechargeable AAA batteries if you don want to spend a fortune in alkalines
Almost a perfect portable speaker; the only detail i don't like is the volume control; it would be better to have a dial lever instead of two buttons

These speakers kick butt!!! great sound, easy to use. Volume works great even in a big room. perfect for working out, in the kitchen or outdoors for a picnic. We bought it along with one of the reconditioned SanDisk MP3 players in order to take our own music along on a trip to Europe. Having previously used tape decks and small computer speakers, this little system was wonderful. The speakers have a full sound that I did not expect from such a compact unit, and the speakers, an extra set of batteries, and the MP3 player all fit into the little bag that comes with the speakers. The shipping is a little steep, but the speakers are worth it, even with the shipping. Was this review helpful?

I purchased these in a clearance bin at Wal-Mart for $20, and i have to say that this has the truest sound of any small speakers (amped or otherwise) i have come across. Decent volume output before distortion occurs, beautiful, clean, crisp, highs, ok bass for what it is (it's not your home theater), very spacious sound, and good battery life (4-AAA). My friend even commented on the sound produced from this thing, and wanted to buy one for himself till i told him i got the last one out of the clearance bin.
