5 of 5 Quality sound for a great price Wednesday, May 21, 2008 Brian W from Findlay, Ohio
Sound Blaster has always been my fav, and with this new line of XFi cards and software, digital music has never sounded better. It seems to work great with my Cakewalk software as well, creating high quality mp3 music with MIDI, and/or live audio. Buy.com has the absolutely lowest price I could find on the internet, or local store. I am totally pleased. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 The worst sound card I've ever purchased Tuesday, May 13, 2008 A Customer from College Park, MD
Never works correctly with my new Dell Inspiron 530 Intel Core 2 Quad QX6600, 4 GB of 800 MHz RAM and strong configuration.
Whenever I just insert a CD, or connect an external hard disk, it fails to works and the software resets to 2.0 speaker system. Even when I shut down my computer and turn it back on, the sound card also malfunctions and the software resets to 2.0. I tried updated the latest software and driver from Creative, but it never got resolved.
I strongly discourage you from buying this. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good card for the price Sunday, April 27, 2008 Malcolm from Birmingham, AL
I needed a mid priced audio to complete a new build. This Diamond card was an OEM. It was recognized by VISTA, and I went to their web site and downloaded the latest drivers. Everything worked well.
The only con was the packaging the card was shipped in. It was placed inside a flimsy padded bag with no protection, and shipped through the US Mail. It was only luck that it made it in one piece. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Sound Car Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Peter Klotz from Little Ferry, NJ
I have always used Sound Blaster cards but to find that X-Fi Audio card worked so well with Vista I was very pleased. It was easy to install and the software installed without any errors. I would recommend this sound card to eveyone I know and anyone that asked. Was this review helpful?
