5 of 5 Great buy Sunday, January 01, 2006 A Customer from LA, CA
This player is easy to use, with great sound output and rather long battery life. It's also cheaper than ipod but it's a little bigger and heavier. I recommend it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 WWWWOW!!! Wednesday, November 30, 2005 J from Chicago IL
Got this a week ago. All I can say is WOW!! What a great little device!! Right out of the box I was loading music into it! Very simple to use with Windows Media Player. I don't know about the included software, haven't used it since this device works in a snap with the Windows Media Player (cheap plug for the Windows Media Player). Get this player right now you won't be disappointed! Don't believe the hype about the Ipod, this is much better! If you want to use Windows Media, Ipod is not the way to go since Apple is not compatible with anything Windows. What made it better is the 15 percent discount I received from buy.com through email. SWEET!!! Was this review helpful?

I just purchased the Creative Zen Touch, (since the Apple iPod is hard to get). I bought my Creative Zen Touch the other day and I do like it, except, I just can get the "Play List" figured out, to get it to play all of the loaded songs, I need to go to the "All Tracks" also, I like the songs to be played in order (so I know what song is next)... though the random button should just be accessible by menu screen only, I keep hitting the random button by accident. I will still recommend it to all of my friends. (only though i am unpopular and have 3 friends...) Was this review helpful?

Newer MP3 players are lighter (this is 7 oz), have color screens, and can show you album covers or pictures. So what! I got this to play music, not to look at pictures. 7 oz is less than a can of soda - I can manage it. After spending 2 days burning almost 500 songs onto my PC and downloading to the Zen, I looked at the detail screen - I still had over 36 GB's of storage left. Wow. Reality hit me - I can record so much more than I thought (they advertise 10,000 songs, but you wonder if it's true - it is!). This is a traveling juke box on steroids! It's amazing! This is one amazing piece of gadgetry :-) I had a nomad 3 but the scroll wheel(used for choosing songs)went bad. Then I got this one because the touch song scrolling system seemed really innovative. I found that it is exactly what it seemed. It works perfectly once you get the hang of it. Plus its cheaper, has longer battery life and better sound(according to consumer reports) than the Ipod. 5 of 5 Not Disappointed at All Tuesday, July 19, 2005 A Customer from Long Island NY
I've had this unit for at least 3 months and i'm very pleased with the performance. Tranferring mp3's is as easy as using windows explorer to move and copy files (they supply NOMAD Explorer). I work outdoors and have dropped it accidentaly at least 3 times from about 3 feet and it still works fine (ALWAYS keep it in the supplied case). I play it in the car via a audio to cassette adapter, sounds good. Drove for 9 hours on a road trip and didn't repeat a song nor did I need to recharge the battery's. A great buy and alternative to the ipod hype and rage. Was this review helpful?

WOW! I've owned mine for about 3 months now, I haven't had a single problem. I've even droppen it aprox. 4 feet onto a concrete floor, the unit came out completely unscaved. The price can't be beat compared to the quality and compared to it's competitors (cough cough....IPod). You won't regret this purchase! Was this review helpful?

I just purchased this player and it is awesome. It is very easy to use and it is very cool looking. Compared to the Ipod it is definately just as good. The touchpad scrolling is much better than the Ipod circular scrolling. There is not much more to say, this player is definately the best on the market. Was this review helpful?
