5 of 5 Great toy Tuesday, December 12, 2006 A Customer from Cerritos CA
Great sound quality and great features. I use all of them! At this point I recommend buying one with more memory but I can fit a lot of music or podcasts onto this one. Oh, I also hate earbuds, I recommend over the ear headphones. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 I just love it! Wednesday, November 01, 2006 Grace Wu from Anaheim, CA
I got my first Creative MuVo from my friend as a birthday gift, and I love the multi functions it provides, MP3 Player, recorder, FM radio, the storage space is enough for me(512MB). Now I take it wherever I go, in my office, in the fitness center.
So I bought two from Buy.com, one for my husband and the other one for my sister.
They said they do like it, easy to use then i-pod. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Very good for audio books Friday, October 13, 2006 Dr. D from Seattle, WA
I bought this unit specifically for listening to audio books because it has a ffw/rw function that lets you scan through the track, as well as skip to the next one. The only drawback I've found is that it does not have a hold function. So if you put it in your pocket, the buttons get pressed. This is not a problem if you use the attached clip. 4 of 5 Great FM Reception Monday, October 02, 2006 A Customer from Charlotte, NC
I've had only a few weeks and am new to Mp3 player, but this one has excellent FM radio reception. The flash drive attach/detach feature is quick and flawless. No problems to date. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great and nice MP3 player Thursday, September 21, 2006 A Customer from Old Bridge, NJ
This is my second MP3 player I have. I had Sandisk 1GB for only about a year and the head phone jack did not work on both ears. This one, the price is pretty ok and since I don't need 1GB, so I decided to buy this 512MB and that's enough for me. Again, this one builds in a USB, so no external cable is necessary. Just plug in to the USB on you CPU and you can work on it. Was this review helpful?

Amazing mp3 player that doesn't need anything else. No cables, perfect for the gym or whatever you are doing. the built in usb port is great. And no SOFTWARE to deal with. Organizing the songs is easy by using folders or playlists. I have had the 64mg, the 128 mg, the 256 mg, the 512mg and now the 1 gig. I just wish they had a 4 gig version and you had a choice of color. But still, amazing all around and the new flash based players are actually not as good as this is. Oh, and a AAA batery operated which means that when it runs out, swap for another one. And I have rechargable batteries so it works well. If your battery is built in, when you run out, you cannot listen anymore. This is something to consider especially if you travel overseas. Get something with standard batteries. So, I give it 5 stars by all means. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Sturdy little player Thursday, July 27, 2006 A Customer from Southern Pines, NC
I've had my MuVo TX FM for a year and a half and have no regrets. I use it exclusively when I exercise. Since I only run for an hour max, I don't need even eight hours of music. The clip is great. I used to clip it to the waistband of my shorts, but now I strap it to my arm. Either way, it's secure. I ended up buying Sony MDR-A35G sweat-proof headphones for running. They don't pop out of my ears or fall off my head. I recommend them highly to all runners out there. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Better than the iPod and Every other Mp3 Thursday, July 20, 2006 Aaron Chen from Rowland Heights, CA
I bought this mp3 back a while ago when it was 100 bucks with a 20 dollar rebate and like sale. I had read alot of reviews about this at sites and it stated that the worst thing that had happened was that when people dropped it broke but this was unfounded. It plays music exceptionally. Especially with the equalizer set right. I radio is outstanding even though i dont really use it. voice recording is another plus. This mp3 combines features that apple cant even put into their ipod in about the same size package as the ipod nano. the clip and earphones are another plus. apple's ipod charges 30 dolars for a cliup for thier ipod while these guys provide it for free. the battery is so-so but i listen to it for 4 hours straight everyday for a week and thats pretty good so whos complaining. plus its only not 50 dollars so get it. the usb data storage is great also.but mines was stolen at my school i guess it was too attractive but i will get another one due to the great value and the performance packaged into a L 3" and a width of 1 inch box. 5 of 5 Big stuff from a small package. Tuesday, June 06, 2006 atkinon from Madison Wi
Everything works as designed & It's sound quality surpassed my expectations. Super small size makes it a dream for biking and other phisical activities. Battery life seems to be better than advertised. The radio is really cool too. As for the scrolling issues if you use folders for your music instead of just dumping all the files in the main directory getting to music is much quicker. The buttons and features are easy enough to use I didn't need to read the instruction manual. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great little device Thursday, June 01, 2006 A Customer from Cerritos CA
I got this mp3 player to be able to play my mp3 collections and podcasts on my home stereo. This player works excellent for playing podcasts but the sound quality is off a little for music. I dont think I would notice it with headphones but through a good amplifier and speakers it is noticable.
All in all though great device with a ton of features. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great MP3 player Wednesday, February 15, 2006 Jim from Spokane Valley, Wa
Definitely worth the small price for this excellent MP3 player. The fm radio works excellent, as does the MP3 playback. I have had this for almost a year now, and highly recommend it - perfect for working out, jogging, etc. Don't expect to load 100 cds on it, but it will hold more than enough for many hours of straight playback. This is the first player I have owned. I based my decision on user reviews at several web sites. I am pleased with the product. So easy to load music through your computer. Just drag and drop. I have not used software yet. I have plenty of volume with my set. I am using a decent set of headphones, not the ones that came with it. No regrets here. Was this review helpful?

This thing is great, and the price is even better. Had the thing for a couple days now and its been fantastic. I highly recommend this item if people do not want those huge 5 - 20gb players. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Only one thing important is missing. Thursday, June 02, 2005 A Customer from NYC
The ability to use/create playlists! I'd like to be able to use M3U playlists generated by Winamp. The ability to arrange tracks in the sequence I like is important, so I'm dissapointed that this is not supported.
Another annoying thing is that while the backlight is on, I get an annoying high pitched sound over my car stero when plugged in via tape cassette adapter. So everytime it starts a new song, the backlight comes on and annoys the hell out of me.
Also, the ability to use very large mp3's (hundreds of megabytes) would be nice. The current user interface is not so great for scanning through such a large file. I records lots of large talk radio mp3's for long drives. Was this review helpful?

Small and powerful, this unit works for me. I did not like the headphones, so I upgraded those.
My only complaint is sometimes the unit will power on in my gym bag and use up the battery. Otherwise I like the small size and the sound is fine for working out.
FM Radio was also a plus. Was this review helpful?

I bought this item looking at the other reviews and knowing that I will pretty much overuse any player I get. That turned me away from the generic Sandisk players that were way cheaper. I'm really happy I did. This player is perhaps the most ergonomical mp3 player ever. It's very small and has no wires. The battery life is great. Sometimes I fall asleep listening to it and roll over it. It still never breaks. The radio works a lot better than I expected and the voice recorder is average. Don't expect to pick up any voices more than 3-4 feet from the unit. Overall, I love this mp3 player! Was this review helpful?

I went through two unsatisfactory players before finding the TX FM. It serves all of my needs. I listen to some long tracks, so I needed a seeking (cue/review) function that is smooth and easy to operate. The jog dial on the TX FM is excellent for this function. It also holds its place where you stopped, regardless of whether or not there was a data transfer in between.
Also, I love the USB key design. Not only is it easy to plug in this player wherever you are; it also doubles as a USB key to store your files that you need to move between computers. And you'll be shocked at how tiny it actually is.
My only complaint (and this is not really a big deal) is this: I have the Creative I-Trigue L3500 speakers, and one feature is that you can plug MuVo players directly into the control unit of these speakers (via a USB connector called the "M-Port"), which gives you the ability to play your MuVo through the speakers without going through the computer. Unfortunately, this feature does not work with the TX FM. Creative Tech Support informed me that it only works with NX players, but this was not indicated anywhere in either product's documentation. Just be aware of that.
Otherwise, this is a great MP3 Player! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great product Friday, January 28, 2005 A Customer from Boulder, CO
This player is an all-around great buy. The features that motivated me to buy this player were the size, weight, battery-life, large memory, and armband for working out. All of these features were just as promised and the player is very easy to use and also has great headphones. Was this review helpful?
4 of 4 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Good player, minor issues Tuesday, January 18, 2005 A Customer from Pgh, PA
Overall, I found this to be a very nice player. Works well as a memory stick, voice recording acceptable quality, has a FM radio, mp3 playback is very good, good interface, small design, long battery life, easy to load files or folders.
Criticisms are minor: (1) FM had a problem with volume (huge steps in volume at certain points), but this is fixed with a firmware update (1.13) through the Creative site. I almost returned it because of this, and then decided to check this first, which handled it easily (download and run the app). (2) FM reception could be better, okay but not great. (3) Everyone says it, and it is true, the earbuds are quite large, so some people would want smaller ones. They sound pretty good though.
Overall, quite happy with it - it's a keeper! Was this review helpful?

This is an awesome mp3 player! It comes with a great software that can convert, compress, and transfer your music. My 512MB player is holding 250 songs! Voice recordings are easy to create, play, and delete. FM Radio has many features: channels can be found by scanning, can be saved, can be deleted, and even recorded for listening later. Folders can be made to organize your music, and there are many equalizers (rock, pop); you can even make a custome equalizer right in the mp3 player. Backlight is very helpful at night time and can be adjusted. There are play modes, locks, display contrast, diff. languages, idle shutdown, and infomation on the amount of space left (etc.) right inside the player. Access to these functions is easy with the scroller button. I recommend this player over an ipod! Was this review helpful?
