This is a good speaker system... i bought this to connect it to my HP laptop... however the downside of this is that is has three input plugs... so i have to buy an external sound card... however, for the time being i m connecting it to my laptop to the regular sound output n one to the SPDIF output... i know i m not getting the sound that i sud be getting but it works for me... i ordered a x-fi external sound card n cant wait to connect the speaker to that.... but i really like it... The speakers are great, especially for the price, except for a couple of things. The sub does not reach as low as almost any other subwoofer which is very annoying for me because it is recognizable even for the average user. Also volume control is on the right speaker and bass control is seperated onto the back (hard to reach) part of the sub. In other words, it lacks a remote which most speakers come with now.
But everything else works great, including quality at high volumes, without distortion Was this review helpful?

Pros: Cheap, speakers look simple and stylish, compact sub puts out plenty of bass, wall mountable, decent sound quality and volume.
Cons: Speaker construction on the cheap side, wires very thin and short, too short to hide in most computer setups. Sub is overpowered even on minimum setting. No external base and volume control, only volume on front right speaker and bass knob on sub.
P.S. for those needing longer wires, simply cut the wire and splice in whatever length of regular speaker you need. Just be careful to mark the two wires and connect the same sides w/ the same wire. Mind sound great like this.
