2 of 5 Major Disappointment Saturday, October 25, 2008
veggieburger from Houston TX

Read glowing reviews from others but found the product extremely lacking....especially for the price....and considering the other relatively good sounding units for less money. Overall sound is very poor.... tinny highs, muddy bass, mediocre midrange and volume is only moderate. Using speakers with 19" high-end LCD TV with adequate wattage....and these speakers barely improve on the TV's own sound.

5 of 5 Great sound from a small package Friday, July 04, 2008
David from Pflugerville, TX
I had planned to purchase a 2.1 speaker system until I heard these. Plenty of bass for my application and more than enough volume. Very pleased with these speakers.

5 of 5 Excellent Sound Saturday, May 24, 2008
Glenn from Daytona Beach, FL
This is my second pair of T20's. They are an excellent value and sound great. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a compact set of speakers for a computer or mp3 player.

4 of 5 Space-saving Multimedia Speaker Wednesday, April 02, 2008
mbching from Berkeley
First off, I don't have much experience of buying speaker, I think it's the first set of serious speaker I want to try in these years. This 2.0 Speaker works very good for vocal voice (midtone), and surprisingly it's doing a good job of bass. Although the bass is not as powerful as other 2.1 system, but it's good enough for most situation. The tone sound quality is very good, it's clear and has a good tone color. I tried to connect it with my turntable, mp3, computer, and TV. By far I am satisfied with its performance. The sound quality for the television actually surprise me, it's so much better than the original TV speaker. One setback for the speaker is the blue led on the front, it's the way too bright, you may have to put little paper the shade it. I buy it with the recovery card $50 dollar coupon, so it's actually only $35 for me. I think it's a very good deal for this solid speaker.

4 of 5 Great 2.0 system Wednesday, March 19, 2008
A Customer from New York, NY
Sometimes a 7.1, 5.1 or even 2.1 system might be an overkill when all you need is two speakers. The speakers are great and are not tinny sounding like most cheap 2.0 speakers, but I feel that it overcompensates the bass a tad too much. Great value, very hapy with my purchase.

4 of 5 As good or better than Bose. Sunday, February 24, 2008
A Customer from Blue Island, IL
These speakers are well made and sound very good. Don't expect much bass; a good subwoofer would complete the system.

5 of 5 Blown Away: Small Stature, Big Sound Sunday, February 10, 2008
Steven from NYC
Wow. That's what I kept saying to myself after I fired up these speakers. I'd read quite a few positive reviews before I made my purchase and I was also replacing a pretty good pair of speakers, so my expectations were extremely high. Well, the GigaWorks T20 met and exceeded all my expectations. Stylish and compact. Crisp sound reproduction. Deep bass. I couldn't be happier. I read a review somewhere in which someone complained about the brightness of the blue LED power-on light. Yeah, it's a bit bright, but I like it. Fits nicely with my setup because my Samsung LCD and Gateway box also emit a blue LED power-on light.

5 of 5 Rockin in the 2.1 world Tuesday, September 25, 2007
Mike from staten island NY
Have been using creatives T-20's for a over a month now, slamin sound for a 2.1 system. Hooked up on wifes gaming laptop and shes a happy camper now.Matched up with sounblaster audigy 2 zs pcmcia card and "bang" super sound.....Great tonal quality, gives you the feeling of much larger system. The T20's are ported at the top for that extra bass which works well for a 2.1 system, highs are high and lows are low...a nice choice for anyone looking for great sound in a 2.1 envirorment.

5 of 5 Best speaker system for their size Monday, August 13, 2007
A Customer from Sacramento, CA
I was looking for a set of speakers I could listen to at work and these fit the bill perfectly. I also tested them outside on my patio and they sound great. They did need a little break in period but that is normal. You can add a sub but it's really not needed. They are extremely clear and can reproduce every little nuance for the most discriminating ear. I also like the lack of extra wires. Besides the source input there is just one wire for the power and one to the second speaker. The front plugs for MP3 input and headphones make connections very easy. The volume, bass, and treble knobs feel really solid. For great sound, easy connection, and compact size, they are by far the best for a home PC or office. Now that I have these for work I'm thinking of getting another set for the patio. Even if they were over $100 they would be worth every penny.

5 of 5 Very Good Value w. Rebate Monday, June 25, 2007
Brian from Elizabeth, NJ
Have been using these nice little speakers for about a month, not bad and a real good deal if you use the rebate/rebates. I use the T20's to listen to music/You Tube stuff from PC. Mostly FM from various locales, T20's handle most music quite well, even Reggae/Afro Pop and Dance/Electronica despite the lack of a subwoofer. T20's seem to have a Kevlar Mid-Range/Woofer like my B&W Floorstanders, nice touch if true. All in all, good bang for buck, if you need to play music very loud or need alot of bass then probably look for a 2.1 system but for PC use I think these speakers might do the job. Good Listening, Ciao!

5 of 5 Phenomenal sound!!! Wednesday, June 13, 2007
Enviroguy from Ballston Lake, NY
These are excellent speakers!! I bought them as a replacement for a Dell Sound Bar, which doesn't mount to the monitor I just got. I had originally tried out the I-trigue 2200's (also from Creative) before settling on the Gigaworks T20's. The T20's are far superior to the 2200's, which sound very tinny. Sound quality is unbelievable for a set of 2.0 speakers. The BasXPort on top of each speaker makes a TON of difference in terms of bass response. For those folks who have an issue with the size of the power supply, it's literally half the size of the transformer on my old Sound Bar, so I'm not complaining. Gave a rating of '5' for value because I was fortunate enough to get these on a great deal from Buy with a $30 rebate from Creative. Final price was under $45! Very, very happy!

5 of 5 Good computer speaker system Tuesday, June 12, 2007

I bought this system from Buy.com. It was shipped very promptly. The sound is great for a very reasonably priced two piece system. I highly recommend it.

5 of 5 These speakers are just what I needed! Thursday, June 07, 2007
Grandmaster B from Boise, ID
I bought these speakers for my upstairs home office. I had been using a less expensive 2.1 setup. These sounded fine, but the subwoofer was simply overwhelming and rumbled the house too much. It was way too much in the evening to listen to music or play Call of Duty...it kept the wife and kids awake. Solution: Creative Gigaworks T20 2.0 desktop speakers. These are pretty small in size (although they are kind of deep), but big on sound. They may not rumble the floor with bass as a subwoofer would, but that is what I was shooting for. The sound is very rich indeed, both highs, lows, and mids...and they still play PLENTY loud when I ask them too. Seperate adjustable bass and treble knobs are a big plus. Another nice addition is an auxilary input on front of the right speaker which means you can plug in your mp3 player or other device straight in. Bottom line: If you want big sound in a desktop sized package without an overpowering (and space consuming) subwoofer, this is your answer. Rarely do I buy a piece of electronic equipment without having at least some regret about the item. No regrets here! A+ Creative and Buy.com!

5 of 5 These speakers kick!! Thursday, May 31, 2007
Enviroguy from Ballston Lake, NY
Just got these puppies yesterday. After testing them out in a brick-and-mortar store, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. I had previously purchased the I-Trigue 2200’s (also by Creative) but found them to be very tinny sounding - not at all what I wanted from $50 speakers. They were returned the next day. The GigaWorks T20’s have awesome sound reproduction and amazing bass! GREAT set of 2.0 speakers. I gave them a ‘5’ for value because of the $30 rebate and 7% Buy.com discount I was fortunate enough to get. All told, I got these babies for $45! That’s just icing!! For those folks who complain about the large power supply, it’s literally half the size of the transformer for the Dell Sound Bar that’s being replacing. No complaints here!

5 of 5 Best Bang for the Buck Tuesday, May 29, 2007
A Customer from Forest Hills, NY
The T20 replaced a pair of blown Realistic Speakers driven by my NAD receiver. The powered 2.0 speakers are great with ample bass which goes down to 40 hz. These are not audiophile speakers but they kick out clean treble and midrange levels. They are very convenient to set up, compared to a 2.1 setup. Haven't heard anything better under $100. The T20's are build very well with adjustment knobs and Headphone and Aux-in plug in accesible on the front panel. Small desktop foot print also.

5 of 5 Great Value Wednesday, May 16, 2007
A Customer from Forest Hills, NY
I used to feed the audio out from my computer through my NAD reveiver to a pair of good book shelf speakers. The Gigaworks T20 sound almost as good, but don't expect audiophile quality from these little speakers, For the music I like to listen to, (female vocals) they are the best powered computer desktop 2.0 speakers I have heard. I would take 1/2 star off for the annoying bright blue light on the control panel. For $79.99 - $20.00 rebate and free shipping, they are the best bang for the buck.

5 of 5 Great speakers for the price Wednesday, March 28, 2007
david.ahrens from Newport News, VA
I bought one pair and hooked them up to my computer and then bought another pair and hooked them up to Airport Express in another part of the house and can now play my music via iTunes throughout the first floor of my house. These speakers have a sound much richer than their relatively small size would lead you to believe possible. I am completely satisfied with them other than the bright blue LED when they are on. A couple drops of black finger nail polish took care of that issue though. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy the same speakers.

3 of 5 Just Average Tuesday, March 27, 2007
maseedall from Oakland, CA
These are really nice looking speakers. However, I am a little disappointed since I expected a little more sound. I have just plugged them in and perhaps after a few more days they will grow on me.

I just wanted a pair of desktop speakers to listen to while at work. These are a great pair of speakers for exactly that. Good sound quality at low volume and excellent performance while turning the volume up a bit.
