These are very nice to awesome headphones. #1 The mic detaches so there's no moving parts that can wear out. (just the little pain of reattaching the mic each time, but I think it's worth it - not wearing out the wires when moving the mic. #2 The audio is excellent!!! Even though I'm half deaf in one ear. I can really get somewhat of a position of my enemies in 1st person shooting games......my scores have improved, although it won't make you top gun. #3 Reviewing previous reviews, it was said that they are made for smaller ears. I find them very comfy even though my ears are somewhat big. I rate these phones high performance.
