Good unit. Works well with my seagate 650GB drive. What I would have liked to know: 1. no LEDs to indicate drive activity on front, 2. chrome/silver items are plastic, case is metal 3. seems to stay cool enough even with prolonged use. 4. This excellent case for SATA drives combines good looks with superb performance. Installation was very easy, and in the four weeks that I've owned it, there hasn't been even a hint of a problem. The case remains cool to the touch even after the drive has been running for a few hours - remarkable for a passive cooling environment. I received the CP TECH CP-U2S-3G Aluminum Hard Drive Case and installed an 80GB SATA HDD. I connected it to my Windows XP system which immediately recognized the HDD. Next, I fired up Norton Ghost and made a copy of my existing HDD. It worked flawlessly. I was also pleased with its transfer speed. The case remains cool after hours of usage.
