5 of 5 No frills, no fuss -- it just works Tuesday, May 20, 2008

Took it out of the box, plugged it in, plugged in all of the LAN cables and the one WAN cable that were in my hub and that was it. Nothing to configure -- it just works! I've been looking for a cheap 10/100 switch for awhile, and this one's small size was a nice bonus -- even with 8 ports it's smaller than my 5-port hub. The magnets on the back allow it to be mounted to any metal surface too. Was this review helpful?

This switch works exactly as it should--just plug your router into one of the ports and your computers into the others. It came up immediately--it was that simple. I also love the fact that it has magnets on the back of it. I was able to "attach" it to the chassis of my wiring closet with these without having to use screws. Also, it's tiny size lets it stay out of the way. Great design and performance!
