I had an old olympus camera whose software was not compatible with vista. This was a great solution. It downloads the pictures very quickly and I don't have to hook the camera upto the pc. Only drawback: smart media memory can easily get stuck in the reader, so only push it in until the blue light goes on. Was this review helpful?

This is another worthless card reader that claims to be "one of the fastest Hi-Speed USB 2.0 card reader on the market." Not even close. I've tested 10 different card readers, and this is the slowest I've ever used. Almost 10 minutes to download 1.5GB of files from an Extreme IV card. The OmniFlash USB reader did it in a little over a minute. The SanDisk ImageMate 12-in-1 took under 2 minutes. Bottom line: don't waste your money on this thing. Was this review helpful?

The reader works, however, the light does not light up when a card is inserted. In addition, you have to press pretty hard when inserting an SD card into the slot before it will actually recognize the card. Was this review helpful?

This card reader is working great for me. I own 3 other card readers and so far this is the fastest one for me. Also, it has a nice strong casing and the USB cord is good quality too. It ran automaticly on my XP computer without having to install any drivers. The blue activity LED light is on the front which makes it easy to see when being used. Was this review helpful?
