    I need a CP USB to Parallel Adapter to connect my old printer to my new computer I went to one of our local stores and they wanted to much for it so I went on line to buy.com it was not even half the price that I had found at the store. Shipping was so fast. Thank you buy.com

    My intent was to connect a dated, but still functional B/W Laser printer with parallel connection option to a docked laptop via USB. The cable worked as advertised. Not much to connecting it (power off the printer to be safe). It did come with a driver cd. Was surprised that running Vista did not prevent the need to install the driver. But it was quick and easy. There is a wide price range on these cables. Other than cable length I can see no reason for paying more.
