COWBOY BEBOP began in 1994 as a 26 episode television series in Japan directed by Shinichiro Watanabe and created by many of the same artists responsible for the MACROSS PLUS OVA. The result was one of the most popular and critically acclaimed shows ever, and its popularity has been steadily growing since its debut. COWBOY BEBOP is the story of Spike and Jet, two of the galaxy's best bounty hunters who travel the spaceways in their converted fishing ship, the Bebop, and, along with help from the beautiful Faye Valentine, the brilliant Ed, and their data dog Ein, try to track down as many of the universe's wanted criminals as they can.
