5 of 5 superb service Wednesday, April 22, 2009 Matt from Charlottesville, VA
As for the quality of the product: It's been working fine for the few weeks of use thus far. Value: It's a replacement for a same wattage PS by another manufacturer that failed after 3 months use. So, it,s value will be realized after years of use. The service was outstanding. I ordered this on a Friday and paid for second day delivery as my PC was out of comission till its arrival. I expected it the following Tuesday which was two business days later. To my joyful amazement it arrived the next day, a Saturday at 3 PM. Way to go Buy.com!! Was this review helpful?

researched for quite a bit of time looking for the most efficient and best PSU for my new computer build. after reading the glowing reviews on every aspect of this unit from amateurs and professionals alike i decided to go with it; boy am i glad! this is a very powerful and efficient unit that will power my rig with plenty of power with some left over. i highly recommend this as Corsair really does stand for quality, it shows with their RAM and now for me their PSUs. 5 of 5 Excellent PSU Tuesday, March 10, 2009 Charles C. from Colfax,NC
The Corsair 750 watt power supply was delivered in a nice protected package. Once opened you could tell this was a very classy power supply, all adaptors you could hope for and plenty of length for all the cables, even supplied the plastic ties to organize wiring to enhance air flow. Once hooked up and powered on I had to put my hand behind unit to insure it was running, it is very quiet and has enough power to run our home ( ha! ). Very happy with this purchase,no regrets what so ever, and thanks Buy.com for offering such a good price w/rebate at the time. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 One of the best PSU you can buy. Monday, March 09, 2009 Brian B. from Rolla, MO
I would recommend this power supply to anybody. It has everything you could need for almost any PC setup. There are four 8pin PCI-e connectors and a giant 12v rail which allow and run any crossfire or SLI setup on the market right now safely. All of the wires are extremely long allowing excellent cable management even in full tower cases. All of the wires are thick, sleeved, and strong. This is a heavy duty power supply. If you are thinking about buying this PSU do it! It has everything you could possibly need and more. It even comes with a 5 year no questions asked warranty and a nice felt crown royal style bag around it. The package also includes black mounting screws and a nice amount of black zip ties.
It annoys me to see that all of the negative reviews on this PSU are relating to the mass of wires and DOA units. First off, you cannot count not being modular and having tons of wires as a negative. This isn't a modular power supply. That would be like rating a pickup truck poorly because it's not a sports car. See the ignorance? Lastly, DOA units happen to any product. When you mass produce tens of thousands of things you cannot guarantee they are all perfect. You also have to take into account the harsh condition packages see in shipping. Please only rate a PSU when you get one that is working so you can accurately reflect on the positives and negatives of the PSU. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Good PWS Monday, January 19, 2009 Zack from Bristol VA
For the price it is the best you can find. Use a search engine and you will find technical reviews that show all the good and some very minor negatives. For my purposes it is perfect and the voltages are 3.31 on the 3.3, 5.05 on the 5, 12.10 on the 12, and 5.06 on the 5v Standby. It is rated at 750 but has been tested successfully up to 900 watts!!! I also liked that its operating temperature is 50 deg C. Has plenty of cables for anything you would like to connect and they are easily long enough for a full tower. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great power supply Monday, January 19, 2009 Gary from Amherst, NY
This is a well built power supply with plenty of power for demanding systems and comes from a well known industry manufacturer. It has long cables that can reach devices in the largest of computer cases, although storing that much cable could be a problem in small cases. Supports ATX12V v2.2 standard and the older ATX12V 2.01 spec and is very quiet. Balancing the power draw on multiple +12 volt rails is unnecessary because this unit has a single +12V rail that can handle all your power needs. It's an all around great power supply. 5 of 5 super cool PSU Wednesday, January 14, 2009 A Customer from houston,tx
750w powers my 9800gtx+ and 4 harddrives and other cards...
boots right up after upgrade.
8pin cable can split into 2x4pin.
also each of the 6 pin cable has 2 extra pins to allow to use as 8 pins.
2 sata power cable each supports 4 drives each
Another 2 ide power cables support 4 drives each.
so many connections will allow many future upgrades...
The fan is so quiet right now I can't hear a thing compare to my old 500w power supply.
very good quality product plus 80-85% efficency..that means saving me lots of electricity money since my machine is on 24/7.
very good product. didn't regret buying it.

5 of 5 Solid power supply Friday, January 02, 2009 A Customer from LA, CA
I bought this to power my GTX 260 after I found out my old 500W couldn't handle it. It's a very good power supply, the rails are steady even after I overclocked my processor and GPU. Best of all, it has a nice five year warranty. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent PSU Saturday, December 27, 2008 smooney3 from Birmingham, AL
I got this monster to power my upgrade from an 8800GT to a GTX260 (probably another for SLI in a month or so). It definitely has the juice to power that and much more. A single rail is definitely the way to go and with 60A, it should be able to handle whatever I can throw at it.
It also looks pretty good in the case. I like the bottom mounted PSU in my case(NZXT Tempest), except that on this one it means that the sticker on the side is upside down. You can barely see it though, so no big deal.
The neat little fake velvet bag that it came in, while completely useless, is a nice touch and makes you feel like you're getting a quality product. And speaking of which, this thing has some excellent build quality. It feels, looks, and performs nice and solid.
Be sure you have plenty of room to stash the extra cables. They're a bit long (not a bad thing) and there are a lot of them (also not a bad thing). If you mount it on the bottom it also blows air into the case, rather than out, but I don't see that being a problem in my case.
This is my first Corsair product. Judging from the quality of this PSU, I think I'll probably be a loyal Corsair customer from here on out. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The missing pin on the 24-pin mobo plug Friday, November 07, 2008 Frustrated Buyer from Irvine CA
I was pissed off when I was about to plug in the mobo plug to find out that the 24pin was missing one pin. I took a look at the wire and 2 wires were connected to one. I started freaking out getting pissed off at buy.com and corsair. Thank God I checked the picture before sending it back. The picture on the box actually shows that it is missing. LOL! I'm such a noob.
I felt better after that. So far so good. I have a 9800gtx+ and a non plus slid with 4IDE drives 1 SATA HD and a x-fi titanium sound card. Even if I oc, this thing can handle it considered the 60 amp on a single 12v rail. WOW!!!
This is a Must have! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome so far Thursday, November 06, 2008 simpill from NYC
Great product, pretty fast on shipping, stable voltages, ample cable length. I only wish the voltages were a little closer to spec on the 12v rail, it reads 11.83 stable at boot, idle and load. The rest of the voltages are pretty close to perfect 5v is 4.95 at all times and 3.3 is 3.28. I also heard in a few reviews online that it can actually produce 900watts at 80% efficiency. I hope that this will supply my future systems as it has a 5-year warranty by corsair. The icing on the cake is who manufactures it Corsair baby, need i say more! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 No reason to buy any other power supply Monday, November 03, 2008 A Customer from Mytown, USA
Very quiet. I cannot tell it is on.
Plenty of cables with all the connections I needed.
Great price.
I am going to order another for there is no reason for me to buy anything different based upon the power and price. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great PSU - Needs better instructions Tuesday, October 14, 2008 Lem G from Clarkston WA
The instructions could use pictures of the different type of connectors or tagging them would work also. That being said, everything else is great. Buy.com got it here fast, it looks to be very well built and quiet for the price. I think it is going to be much better than the Antec it replaced. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good Product Saturday, October 11, 2008 AJ from New York, NY
Great product, works great, just only one thing is that its a mess of wires in the case. Works Great though get it if you can deal with a clump of unused wires laying and taking up space in your case. I would perfer the one that you can take off the unused wires. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Impressive! Thursday, October 02, 2008 porcubunny from Waukesha, WI
This psu comes packaged beautifully and well-protected. The black finish is subdued, but shouts SERIOUS. I have a ton of power-eating accessories (and 5 hard drives)and this unit handles it all easily. The velvet bag it comes in is a nice touch and almost makes you want to leave the psu in there when you install it. Just joking.... don't do that :)
This is a fine psu for a fine price. Got it in 1 day too!
It's my very first order from buy.com and I am very VERY impressed. Fedex must have known that this is a valuable commodity for a computer enthusiast.. it was delivered without a ding or scratch. If you are shopping for an upper echelon psu, get this one. The price is sweet too. Not sure what I will do with the soft velvet bag though. Maybe put my digital camera in it or use it as a **** warmer this winter. The biggest surprise that came with this purchase was the length of time between paying for it and having it in my paws. Kudos to buy.com Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Excellent Reviews from Hardware Sites Wednesday, October 01, 2008 david D. from Santa Ana, CA
Spend a full day researching dozens of hardware web sites. All reviews were excellent. Fast arrival 3 days. Packaged superbly to indicate Corsair cares to show quality.
I have a Mid-size tower and cables were a bit long for it. My PC doesn't use the following so I had to bundle up 2 Strands 12V SATA containing 8 each connectors. Also 2 Strands of PCI-E connectors. And 1 Strand of EPS12V Power Connector. I curled the 5 strands like a snake and barely fit between the PSU and the Harddrives. It helps tying them and covering the connectors with tape so they can't by accident enter the Fan Blades of 3ea Hardrives Fans.
The 2 Strands containing a total of 8 each 12V Power called "Peripheral" power are actually PATA or IDE power connectors for your Harddrives. I run 8 HD's. For IDE's use, the cable length was perfect but the Floppy Disk power cable is too short. By about 3 to 4 inches. So extension will be required.
Cable stiffness depends upon the AWG of the cable which appears to be 18 AWG so that's excellent because cheaper PSU's use 20 and even 22 AWG which causes the wires to run hotter and current restriction. I could not hear the 140 mm ball bearing fan. So I had to check if the fan was running. I checked the power output in my BIOS and found tolerances closer than my prior PS. Rather than blowing down (as some multi-fan PS do, this one sucks air from the interior of the case to the rear exhaust hole keeping the interior of the PC cooler with this huge quiet fan. I've only used it 1 day so I hope I'll be as happy down the line as I am today. I gave this PSU 4 stars based on 2 factors. (1) The Floppy cable is too short and building PC's I have never experienced that. (2) Slight minors that "testing PSU pros" have written about, but are minor indeed. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Smooth as silk Tuesday, September 23, 2008 james from laramie, wy
For a power supply that is not modular, this is excellent. It is very quiet. It replaces my noisy Thermaltake 480W PS. It has more than enough connections for my configuration. In fact, I had to tie off a bunch that I was not using. If you can catch it on sale w/ rebate it is a superb value. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent ! Friday, September 19, 2008 A Customer from Newnan, Ga
Great power supply! The build quality is good. You are future proof with 4 pci-e 8pin (you can change the 8 pin to 6 pin if needed), not all power supply's has this feature yet.
I use it for an Asus P5Q3 Deluxe wifi and a Intel E8500 overclocked to 4300mhz. Plus a BFG GTX280. So I put a pretty heavy load on the power supply. It works quietly and cool at 100% stability. No problems! I highly recommend it.

5 of 5 Great high end PSU for the cheap Sunday, September 07, 2008 theELVISCERATOR from Anytown, USA
This PSU is one of the best on the market, and at this price unbeatable.

electronics are top notch and these units will run much higher then rated, before hiccuping.
Rated for high temps this PSU will not falter in hot conditions either. Was this review helpful?

What a great PSU! I wanted a good power supply and decided to buy this after reading many reviews. It comes in a very sturdy package, protected in hard foam packaging, a draw string velvet case, and a plastic bag. There are lots of cables for this (I wish they were modular) some of which I won't use right away. I bought the Cosmos 1000 from Coolermaster and this power supply actually sits on the bottom. It fits great, works great, is very quiet, and worth every penny!
If you want a great power supply look no further, I didn't! Was this review helpful?

Previously using the Ultra-Xfinity 600 watt to power the gtx-260, well wrong idea as I started getting bsod and screen freeze in games.
Called eVGA tech support who immediately recommends the Corsair like this one or comparable. I ordered this psu thru buy.com and the unit came a few days later. The installation went so smooth. This psu which has 140mm fan is much more quiet than the Ultra by a wide margin.
As of yet no more bsod or freezes alike. I think my rig now has what it needs: POWER and much more power in reserve. Was this review helpful?

This power supply is the best of the best. I haven't stressed it out to much, but is very stable. I have 750w to play with, and also have an option to crossfire 4870s or power a 4870x2 and maybe even 2 4870x2's Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good So Far Saturday, August 09, 2008 A Customer from York, PA
I've had no performance problems with this PS. It's running 4 hd's, Q6600 oc, 8800gt oc, Asus p5Q MB etc. without issue. No weird behavior entering or exiting sleep like I had with an Enermax. Only negatives are cables that are too stiff and it's designed to be mounted at the top of a case not the bottom like in an Antec 900. In this case it's upside down so the plugs must be flipped over to put them into the drives. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Very good power supply Tuesday, July 22, 2008 A Customer from Austin TX
power supply is powering dual 8800 gt boards and a xfx 790i ultra motherboard. Had plenty of connections to connect everything up with plenty to spare. Little pricey but did not want to risk having power issues so this unit was a great choice. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Corsair Is the Best Monday, July 14, 2008 Tony from Santa Barbara Ca
So far I have been very pleased with my purchase. I received the order on time and exactly in perfect condition. I was nervous about turning on my computer for the first time with this psu in it, but all went well. It supplies more than enough power for my system and works great. Most of all the large fan is silent and only on when it reaches over a certain temperature. Thank You Corsair and Buy.com!

5 of 5 Best value for money I have found Tuesday, July 08, 2008 Don from Baltimore, MD
I just built a new PC and this PS was no fuss. Not that it matters, but it has a very nice coating on the exterior. Corsair was offering a mail-in-rebate that I took advantage of, but even without it the price is very competitive to other PS's at this wattage. The only negative I could possibly give is that the PS comes inside a velvet baggy (inside the box, of course) which is pretty useless because you're not going to be carrying it around. I think they could have left the baggy out and saved a buck or two on the price. It's not a big deal, just kind of a waste of velvet. I guess it's to impress you when you open the box. Anyway, I seriously doubt you would need/use all the cabling this thing provides and the cables are long enough if you have a case with the power supply located at the bottom, as I do (a P180). 5 of 5 Excellent PSU Wednesday, July 02, 2008 A Customer from Omaha, NE
The PSU does a great job. Very stable, can handle SLI quite nicely. Has a good number of connectors and the cables are nice and long. No issues with it reaching all my periperals even mounted in the bottom of a Antec 900 case. Only thing to be aware of is that those cables may make routing / hiding those not needed a bit of a chore. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Power Supply Monday, June 09, 2008 A Customer from Santa Cruz, CA
This is a great PS. Plugged it in and it works great. It powers everything in my computer, which is what its supposed to. Not much else to say about it. It has a LOT of connections, more then I'll ever need. I won't have to upgrade it anytime soon.
Buy.com has the lowest price for it that I've seen. Was this review helpful?
