5 of 5 Perfect for me Friday, May 15, 2009 Scott from Pittsburgh,Pa
I bought this to put Mp3's on,and to keep in my car for my car stereo. It seems nice and rugged,to throw in the glove box,etc...Read and write speed seems okay, but that doesn't matter to me,because I won't be doing much file transfers back and forth etc...Got my rebate Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great, quick-loading, ample storage Monday, April 27, 2009 Brian from Atlanta, Georgia
I got this b/c of the storage size and Corsair's reputation for building solid, reliable drives. This drive loads fast (unlike some larger GB drives) and I even set up part of it to boot several programs from (Including a Defrag program, two Linux/Unix systems and others).
The "stick" itself is surrounded by a cushoned case that feels spongy but strong. It comes with a neck lanyard and that's primarily where I keep it. I like the shock resistant covering b/c I take it off of my neck and drop it on desks frequently.
GET THIS DRIVE! Another great from Corsair! Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Corsair 16gb USB Monday, April 20, 2009 A Customer from Bloomfield, NJ
I just bought this a few weeks ago to transfer stuff from one computer to another. When I bought it, there was an offer for a $20 rebate ... hence the reason I bought it. So far so good! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Corsair Flash Voyager Saturday, February 28, 2009 Douglas from Nashville, TN
This is a great flash drive. Rubber coating covering the entire drive is great protection. Attach point is NOT on the cap...also great. Indicator LED...some don't have one but this one does. Cap is nice and tight. Lots of storage for a small price.
Could be a little faster but otherwise a very good value. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent so far Wednesday, February 25, 2009 A Customer from Rochester, NY
I have had this flash drive for a few weeks. It has lived up to my expectations and performed flawlessly. Seems solidly built and reliable. Shipped quickly. No complaints at all. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Pretty nice drive ! Monday, February 23, 2009 A Customer from Racine, WI
I like the rubber covering. Before I bought this some people were complaining that the cap falls off too easily and I am not experiencing that. Some people were also complaining that they could not get files larger than 2 GB onto the drive but that is a limitation of FAT32 not the drive. You could format it in NTFS but you will lose more space as there is more overhead for NTFS. Then you need to be careful not to do any NTFS security as you will have problems when you connect to another computer.
I like that small USB extension cord that came with this. I actually had one but had to use it on a permanent basis on another computer so getting a replacement was very nice !
The only thing I did not like is that 1 GB is needed for the overhead on the FAT32 on this drive. I thought that was a little high. I have a 8 GB and only 250 MB was used for the overhead. You will lose some space on all drives but I thought it was a little high for this one.

4 of 5 Bulky Monday, February 23, 2009 A Customer from Houston Texas
This flash drive works well but is too bulky. The "shock" protection is ok but in today's world there are others that are of a much smaller size therefore protection is also smaller. This item is well protected.
Speed clocks near the smaller units, but the deal killer is the bulky size. I bought on of these at 512 K 3 years ago and finally gave it away because of the unhandy size. I really thought this one would be 1/2 or less of the size of the old one. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great buy Monday, January 26, 2009 A Customer from santa maria, ca
got this for final cost of 23.00 including shipping. A big plus is that it seems fast enough, no glitches, no problems and it came with a cable connector for tight spaces, and a carry neck stap!Corsair makes a well thought out, quality product. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Very Good Flash Drive Thursday, January 22, 2009 DO from Missouri
Outstanding flash drive. Fast transfer, large capacity and a fantastic price. I am still waiting on my rebate from Corsair. Rebate process is a bit more than I expected, but when that comes through I will be a very happy customer. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 great deal Thursday, January 01, 2009 Jan from Minneapolis
Excellent price for a nice sized USB storage device. I put all my digital photos on this, along with all my other important files, with room to spare.
I also wish the size of memory was written on the drive. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Corsair & Buy.com numero uno Wednesday, December 31, 2008 svTiAmo from Ft Pierce, FL

5 of 5 Good value Thursday, December 04, 2008 Gary from Satellite Beach, FL
Pros: This Flash Drive doesn't have U3 which I was glad to see. Performance is very good.
Cons: I wish the size of the drive was written on the device. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works good Wednesday, December 03, 2008 A Customer from Madison, WI
I've had this unit for about 2 weeks. It is working great as expected. Fast data read/write access. Very speedy shipping as always. There have been so many great deals with free shipping that I've been buying things about twice a week for the last couple of months. I don't know how they can do it esp given the free shipping on items as low as $5. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Slower than I thought it would be. Tuesday, December 02, 2008 A Customer from Hartford, WI
I was previously using a 4 GB Kingston flash drive. I liked the price on the Corsair 16 GB so ordered it. I transferred my files from the 4 GB and it took forever to load them on the 16GB. I don't know if all 16 GB are like this but I was disappointed it took so long. Since it is a back up I should't have to copy so many files at one time again so all in all I am happy with it but feel I should have waited and purchased a Kingston. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Flasharific Tuesday, December 02, 2008 Toomuch Freetime from Norwalk, CT
I knew when I pressed the order key I would be in for some fun. I counted the days until I received my Corsair 16GB flash drive. Every day as I heard the mail being delivered, I would quickly scamper to the door to see if the mailman had brought me my gift. Finally the day arrived when a package lay on the front stoop. Could it be? It was, from Buy.com. My Corsair was delivered. I quickly grabbed the package and ran inside. I ripped open the padded envelope and smelled the sweet smell of plastic as I pulled the Corsair from the grips of the envelope. It had survived its journey quite intact. I found a pair of scissors and began work on the packaging. I carefully cut along the bottom and one side. This gave me enough room to pry the remaining plastic packaging apart and reach for my prize. There it was before me finally. The flash drive was mine. I took the drive and pried off the protective cover and carefully placed this aside. I placed the drive into an open USB port on my laptop and waited. Rather quickly a dialog appeared flashing all sorts of nonsense until I was presented with a dialog to select what application to launch. I chose Windows Explorer and then viewed the drive. Empty as expected but not for long. On my laptop, I quickly found a folder of files I wanted to move to another laptop I own and right clicked the folder. Choosing Send To, the Corsair drive was offered as a choice. From then on the drive has performed flawlessly. I am quite satisfied with it and with 16GB of space, I can copy just about anything I currently own onto it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Soft touch Tuesday, December 02, 2008 Daniel from Valders, WI
This is the first USB device I have had with a soft outer shell. The rubber case makes worries about dropping the device a thing of the past. The 16 GB Flash Drive has plenty of storage capacity for average users and is very fast on a USB 2.0 port. I've used this for backing up files while working on PCs and for transferring large projects like video from place to place. Was this review helpful?

Cons: I lost the cap >.< It's probably around here somewhere... Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product Tuesday, November 11, 2008 Mike from Yonkers, NY
Works well. I've had it for about 3 weeks and am very satisfied. I have over 400 songs, 20 music videos, tons of data files, about 400 photos and only used 10 of the 16 gigs. I use it every day. Although it's not the smallest drive out there they do include a usb extender, which I have not yet needed. A very nice touch. The only compaint I have read was about the cap, but I have not experienced any problems as of yet. Buy.com has great deals and fast shipping. $30 for a 16GB flash drive that works well, what can I say? Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Couldn't be more pleased... Tuesday, October 28, 2008 A Customer from Montgomery, AL
LOVE the product! It's fast. Dependable! And I use it all the time. I've got programs that I run from it. I put it on my flash stick to save space on my hard drive. It works like a charm. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Survived the wash - TWICE!! Tuesday, October 21, 2008 A Customer from Saginaw, MI

5 of 5 more bang for your buck Saturday, October 11, 2008 A Customer from Brooklyn, NY

5 of 5 Solid and Dependable Saturday, October 11, 2008 wamaruna from New Bern, NC
I've owned the 4GB version of the Corsair memory stick for over a year. This 16GB version is visually identical. It is covered in a soft padding and comes with an over-sized lanyard for wearing around your neck. It will appear in My Computer with a discrete Corsair Voyager name, not just with some generic drive name. A bright blue LED flashes to signal read/write activity. The only downside is that it is thicker than your average thumb drive, so if you use an adjoining USB port, there may be a space conflict. This is true of the 4GB version as well, which is identically sized. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Corsair rocks! Thursday, October 09, 2008 A Customer from NH
I have another one of these but smaller storage and it's rock solid. Love this one with 16gb. I do just fine with it in FAT format. Great for storing downloaded shows and music and more. Would def. recommend to all. Although it is bulky I haven't had any problem fitting other usb drives near it...I keep it plugged into my laptop pretty much 24/7 and store the cap with my mouse bag.. .just get it when I put the laptop away in it's sleeve which is rarely! 5 of 5 Very good for the price! Wednesday, October 08, 2008 D. Hristov from San Francisco,CA
Very happy with the drive so far (so far I only loaded it full of music files that I listen to in my car, but still). It looks well made and I love the rubbery feeling to it. Its smaller than I thought too, although, its 15GB usable memory (not 16gb)
I can see why some reviewers dont like the slip-on cap but I dont find that to be a big issue. I guess it becomes more of a pain with time, but for about $30 (after rebate of course) the drive is definitely worth it.

4 of 5 Size and price a great value Wednesday, October 08, 2008 Monnie from Canton, MS
Pros are size, price, convenience, the usb extension cord included and the fact that I can carry it in my purse.
Cons are speed, how much it will actually hold, and the top isn't attached so easy to lose the top.
Overall great for what I wanted it for. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Won't hold large files Saturday, October 04, 2008 jerieri from Syracuse NY
I am relatively happy with this flash drive, it was certainly a good deal. However, I can't fit a single 6gb windows media file on this drive even when it is empty and the recycle bin is empty and even after freshly formatting the drive. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product so far Wednesday, October 01, 2008 Tawnytiger from Redlands, CA

5 of 5 Great Device for the Price Monday, September 29, 2008 A Customer from Boston, MA
This is the best flash drive I have ever owned the 16GB storage is perfect its water resistant and its cheap. The only draw back is when dealing with large files it gets a little sluggish but not so much as to be a problem. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 I'll buy from Corsair again Wednesday, September 24, 2008 A Customer from Helena MT
So far this little guy has been exactly what I needed, a massive amount of space. The cap does worry me but so far it remains snug. The transfer speed is excellent, even when moving monstrous 10 GB files/collections of files. Flash memory is still pricey but this has to be the cheapest drive with the most memory and perfect performance. I would recommend to anyone in need of a large flash drive. Corsair has given this buyer confidence to buy from them again. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 s..l..o..w..l..y..does it Tuesday, September 16, 2008 A Customer from san gabriel, ca
I thought if I reformat to NTFS it might make transfer speed a little bit faster...NOT! Then, I thought if I loaded 1GB at a time instead of several, it would be faster...NOT!! Finally...I got up and went to lunch, came back an hour later...and I was just in time...hahaha... I wanted this drive for it's portability and for the 16G and that's what I got. I've decided to live with the timely transfer speed. Oh and BTW, go to corsair's website and request additional caps (2 per request)..I've done so, since I am forewarned by other reviews. 4 of 5 Cap is easily lost Friday, September 12, 2008 A Wahid from New York
As mentioned by others here, the biggest complaint about this is the cap. I have the drive on my key chain and somehow while at a supermarket the cap fell off and got lost. Now its bare and there's nothing I can use to protect the exposed usb stick. Performance and capacity wise it probably the best flash drive I've had, work great on Windows and Linux. The price from buy.com was excellent also. I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 only because the cap just didn't do it justice. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Corsair 16MB USB Memory Key Monday, September 01, 2008 Robin-K from Grosse Ile, Michigan
Unbelievable deal with rebate, arrives quickly, even with free shipping - Vista ReadyBoost compatible. I also have the 8GB model. Both have a nice rubberized surface. As mentioned, the cap does not have a retainer, but does have a great tight fit. I personally do not like cap retainers, they get in the way. Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 Good price per GB but lacks quality Tuesday, August 26, 2008 MM from NH
I got a really good price for a 16GB unit. I was very ecstatic about the on-the-fly encryption etc. But when I got the flash drive, the 1st thing i noticed was that cap doesn't fit. It keeps slipping out. I went on to the Corsair Voyager Forum, and they had a link to order extra cap, so that's what I did. Once I receive the new cap I'll be able to decide If i want to keep using the flash or toss it. Having a cap is very important to me. I also wish there was some sort of back up software that synced the files between PC and whats on the encrypted flash container. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Item .... Monday, August 25, 2008 A Customer from Green Bay, WI

4 of 5 A good one with a flaw Sunday, August 10, 2008 A Customer from DC
This flash drive is overall very good, no trouble holding two dvd movies and still has more space. I primarily use it with my dvd player that has a usb 2.0 port to play movies, saving me the trouble to burn dvd-r. The main concern is, as many reviewers mentioned already, the cap cannot by attached to the drive when it is plugged, very easy to lost it. Was this review helpful?
