Chow Yun-Fat is Nick Chen, a severe New York Chinatown cop who is having a tough time keeping peace on the streets after a turf war breaks out between the triads and a street gang. Mark Wahlberg is Danny Wallace, another cop brought in to help with the peacekeeping effort. When he realizes that Chen's ties to the criminals go even deeper than he suspected, things get very violent and complicated.

The Corruptor is essentially a cop-buddy movie, a tried-and-true genre... Thankfully, the violence is not used as a substitute for a story line. There are enough plot twists and turnarounds to make your head spin if you try to absorb them all... The Corruptor is full of action-packed, hard-hitting, exploding sequences. I was a little disappointed after watching this on DVD because of my expectations of it. The Replacement Killers is by far a movie that The Corruptor can't keep up with. But overall, if you are bored, pick this movie up...but don't expect too much to be like The Replacement Killers. This is way better then ' Replacement Killers'
The Action is steady and the drama is great.
Chow yun fat gives a very good performance.
One for the DVD collection.
