5 of 5 Great case for the price Tuesday, February 24, 2009 Chad from Layton, UT
This case worked well for me - I like the tool-less design, although the cd drive holders could have secured better, not a big deal though I just put a screw in. The two 120mm fans are nice and the psu at the bottom works nice. Also it comes with rubber grommets between the hard drive and enclosure which keeps the hard drives quiet. Overall worth the price of 69.99 with free shipping. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice case Saturday, October 18, 2008 A Customer from Red Wing, MN
This case stays very cool. I've only added a single fan to the side panel so far, for a total of 3 fans. This is a very roomy case, and will fit just about anything you would want to stuff in it. Only things I did not like were: HDD rack did not come out as easily as I had expected, and the removable motherboard tray made is a take a while to line up the ports to the back. Worth every penny I spent on it, and more. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good case, great value Sunday, August 24, 2008 A Customer from Colorado Springs, CO
The side panel fan vents (2) and top fan vents (2) support either 120mm or 140mm fans. The uppder side panel vent is right over the CPU, and if you install a taller aftermarket cpu cooler/heatsink, you probably won't get a fan in there, but I don't see that as a problem. The lower side panel vent is right over the upper slots on the motherboard, so you'll get a little additional airflow onto your video card.
<br><br>
There is a vent on the other side panel to fit an 80mm x 15mm fan - note that most fans are 25mm thick and this location is suited to the rarer 15mm thick fans. I recommend getting an 80mm x 15mm fan for this location and using it as exhaust to clear out any warm air that builds up under the motherboard.
<br><br>
There is enough room under the case and a vent under the PSU area for a bottom fan PSU, unless you put the case directly on longer carpet - in that scenario, put your PSU upsided down (fan on top), or put the case on a hard surface.
<br><br>
The 3.5" to 5.25" bay bracket will fit behind the upper-most bay with the controls, so in theory you could squeeze an internal device into that space if you need it.
<br><br>
This case lacks a reset button (which is weird and a little inconvenient), but so do most laptops :~)
<br><br>
The 5.25" tool-less brackets work fairly well for opticals and for holding the hard drive cage in. To use the hard drive cage, the entire front must be taken off (once the motherboard is installed), but the front panel comes off easier than most I have dealt with previously.
<br><br>
The hard drive cage as custom/longer screws for the hard drives to accomodate rubber bumpers that keep the drive from having direct contact with the cage. This is a simple, nice feature that reduces the hard drive noise.
<br><br>
The case should handle most long video cards without a problem, even with all the drive bays filled.

This case is a great value for the cooling/airflow and the total drive capacity.

5 of 5 Coolest Case Available Sunday, August 03, 2008 driveracing from New Port Richey, FL
I am very happy with the Centurian 590 case. I have installed 7 fans and could add any accessories without worrying about overheating. There is plenty of room in the case so the new extra long video cards will fit.
Build quality is good but not outstanding, and the case only comes with 2 fans so make sure you add the extra fans to your budget when comparing cases. Was this review helpful?
