HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF THESE FOR SEVERAL YEARS THEIR CHEAP AND WORK GREAT HAVE ONE AT HOME AND ONE IN MY COMPUTER BAG, FOR ON THE ROAD.
ADDED A COUPLE OF SQUARES OF VELCRO TO THE TWO TOWERS AND TWO ON THE BOTTOM OF MY ACER LAPTOP, KEEPS EVERYTHING IN PLACE. Was this review helpful?

This little device works better at keeping my 17" laptop cooler than the $70 iLAP. It's lighter, simpler, so much less expensive and more portable than the iLAP. Only slight drawback is that it works best on a hard surface and less well on your lap but that's quibbling. The thing that makes it work is that it really allows more air to flow beneath the laptop. No power needed, no noise, no moving parts and easy to stick in a briefcase. Was this review helpful?

I use this on my desk mostly for lifting my desktop just a little for comfort in typing. But have also used it on my lap. It's a great piece. My son has one also and loves it for his IBM laptop which gets very hot. He says it is perfect and doesn't take up any room in his backpack. Was this review helpful?

Laptops get so stinkin hot it's not even funny. However there are many products out there that claim to keep them as cool as possible and most of these products use several fans, thus raising the price greatly. Well truth is you don't need enough fans to produce hurricane force winds just to keep your computer cool. You just simply need something to raise it and create some ventilation. That is exactly what this product does, and it does it for a killer price! It does not work quite as good as fan stands but for the price it can't be beat! This is a great buy for any notebook user! The cooling stand is great. I have a large laptop and it fits just fine, I just have to place the stand towards the back of the laptop so it's not in danger of tipping over. Was this review helpful?
