It can be used independently from the book and has been packaged separately for those purchasers to wish to use the programs but do not want to buy the book. There is a free CD-ROM in the back of the book Contact Lenses 4 edition which is linked very closely to the text and has an extra program based on the Orthokeratology chapter by John Mountford.
