My son just went off to college with a brand new top-end laptop, and I wanted him to have more protection than just the cable lock. So I investigated on the Internet and found Lojack for Laptops. I can't attest to whether the service Computrace offers will actually help find a lost or stolen laptop, but I do know that this appears to be the most widely used product of its kind and the most likely to be successful. The product instlled without a hitch, and now I just hope I don't have to use it!! As for Buy.com, they are amongst the best Internet sellers. Ordered on Tuesday, received on Thursday, brand new and well packaged. Buy.com may not like this, but don't spend extra money on faster shipping. Their web site, order process, and e-mail followups are superb. All in all, a great product and a great shopping experience. Was this review helpful?
