Complete Bible on Audio MP3 CDs: English Standard Version (Audio CD Unabridged)

I'm not reviewing the ESV as a translation here (I endorse it), which basically makes the ratings scale invalid since I'm reviewing a recording. This product is probably the lowest price ESV MP3 you can find. It has a separate MP3 per chapter for easy reference. While Johnstone reads well and clearly, I'm not always appreciative of the way he "emotes" and alters pitch. A bit overly dramatic, and not exactly the way a normal person would read. I'm trying to get used to it. My only technical complaint is that there is not much "space" at the beginning and end of each file. So when you load a mix of readings on the MP3 player, there is not enough gap to feel right when it goes to another file. But really, for the money, it does the job and helps me listen to Scriptures on my bicycle commute to work.

The ESV combines the literalness of a GREAT translation with the readability/listening of modern English. As an audio Bible this is an incredible value.
