Features: DVD Emmy Award winner Michael Chiklis stars as Tony Scali, a former Brooklyn cop now the Police Commissioner of a small upstate city. But for Scali, this is no desk job. And when a cop who's caught sleeping on duty implies that Commissioner Scali has forgotten how rough midnight tours can be, Tony takes the graveyard shift and gets paired with a tough-talking female officer. SEX, LIES & KEROSENE - Tony and Paulie investigate a puzzling arson case in which the husband of a beautiful woman appears to have been murdered. THE PUCK STOPS HERE - Mike Cermak--star high school hockey player, recovering addict, and good friend of the Scali family--becomes a prime drugring suspect. Editor's Note
Tough but good-natured former Brooklyn cop Tony Scali (Michael Chiklis) has become the police commissioner of the small upstate town of Eastbridge. He discovers, however, that dealing with the criminals of Eastbridge is just as difficult as in Brooklyn, with the political pressures of his position only exasperating the situation. THE COMMISH: THE BEST OF SEASON ONE features four full-length episodes, chosen by series creator Stephen J. Cannell (THE A-TEAM, 21 JUMP STREET), that highlight the best writing and acting the series had to offer. Mystery, humor, and vividly drawn characters all contributed to the success of THE COMMISH.
