Praise
New York Times Book Review
"Anderson is most interesting when he gives us stories instead of generalizations; these often have a powerful immediacy, especially when his own actions are part of the plot." - Bob Blauner 11/21/1999

Ruminator Review
"Academic in tone, the book is not always a breezy read, but it is certainly an important one." - Ben Gillies Fall 2001
