Use it for desk-top video tele-conferencing(VTC) and basic TV. Works very well and has a good picture, even close-up as one would do on a desk for VTC's. Menu options good, comes with a remote, table-top stand and is VESA compliant if you want to mount it, like I did with an OMNI adjustable pan-tilt mount. very light-weight too.

I knew I was getting a 15 incher, so I am not complaining about the size because that is the size I bought. I don't subscribe to cable nor dish so I am still to find an indoor antenna that gets the channels properly, so I still think that the lack of picture quality and not being able to get the reception to the available channels all the time might be the antenna, so I will not judge that yet, even though I have used 3 different ones (not the expensive ones, but I have spent up to $20 in one of them, less on the other). I will let you know about that later. The remote control's performance is horrible, it works when it wants to. The design of the remote is bad, but I can live with that. I wish when I push the button to change channel it would change the channel. I have changed the batteries three times (I bought the TV a month ago), so it is not the batteries. It is not the distance from where I am using it(10 feet) at least I don't think that should be too far... I am not the first one to complain about the remote and I thought the person who had a problem before was a fluke. Now I think it is a bad product. So $130 thrown away, since I like to be able to change channels when I want to without standing up, and expect the product to work!! Take your chances if you want to...

Bought this tv for the dinette and absolutly love it. Place it on a turntable and there is no bad angle. Learned that you should align the analog/digital channels first to set the clock and date before you connect it for cable use. The sound is good but you can not blast it. Combine as I did with a dvd/vcr recorder and everything is alright. You can split the signals to record basic and watch cable tv.

Bought this for my childs room to replace a big, heavy tube type. It performs as advertised. The HDMI and component video inputs are a big plus. Good value. From Order to arrival 4 days. No complaints. Will buy a couple more for my other kids.

I purchased this television for my craft room. Its perfect! The sound quality and volume as well as the color tone is very good. From some angles(side and standing above), the picture quality is not too good, but for close range its great. The remote has a fairly narrow range to it, but since I'm usually only 3-4 feet away from the screen, its not much of a problem. Well worth the price. And I recieved the item in only 2 days!

This purchase was the result of looking for the least expensive 15" LCD with HDMI connection. Given the low price, expectations were not very high. This unit exceeded expectations. It performs very well for the price.

Best deal anywhere on a 15" LCD. Purchased to use on my boat this summer so all I have done with it is test it to make sure it worked. Picture and sound quality very good for the money!

I bought this TV to install in a remodeled bathroom. We like to watch the local news and weather while getting ready for work. This TV was easy to install and set up and the picture is good except when viewed from a sharp angle. However, in my application that is not as important, because most of the time we just listen to it anyway. I was able to modify the base, and use it to mount on the wall, which made for a clean looking installation. The sound is adequate and there are enough different connections to allow all types of operation. We are pleased with this purchase and would recommend this item to all.

Pros: excellent picture, good volume, inexpensive. Cons: Weak remote, trouble with strong digital signal, slow turn-on and tuning. Overall I really like the TV. Have it in the master bath to catch the news while getting ready for work. Light weight made wall mounting easy. Biggest problem was that my cable signal was apparently too strong for the HD tuner in the set. Kept dropping out when tuned to digital stations (non-HD stations had no problems for some reason). I had to put a splitter in line just to drop the signal 7dB. After that it worked perfectly. Otherwise it is kind of slow turning on and when switching channels, but that is a minor complaint.

Great TV with great picture and sound. The only issue is that currently you cannot program a cable/universal remote to control the TV (i.e. to control the volume or turn the TV on or off). I called COBY and they said they hoped to have this problem fixed in a few months.

Considering the cost of a DTV converter box (without a Gov. coupon) and the age of some of my analog TVs and the features and picture quality of the Coby - I ordered a second! The manual is weak and does not offer much help, but for a small, non-primary TV set, this thing is pretty nice! Plus, it can function as a secondary computer monitor.

This TV was ordered on a Thursday morning and was delivered friday morning the next day (over night) WOW. TV works great. I have only tried it out a short time. I bought this to use in my camper this summer, but I will use it in my home when not camping.
