This is my first purchase with Buy.com (thank you very much, great service and shipping speed!) and my first media player. It is still going strong after 2 months and I hope it will keep going. If you don't have the latest software such as Windows XP3 or Vista and you only have say, Windows 2000, you will appreciate the ease of set up and transfer of files. The video/photo feature does not have perfect resolution but this is my only quibble. All the "pros" outweigh the "con". This player supports .txt files and the built-in FM radio has great reception. I really bought this player to listen to the mp3/wma files but I have enjoyed so much more. This is really great value for the money. If this player lasts 1 year, I will be very, very happy! Having had 2 iPods and a Zune, I bought this expecting very little.
Cons-
-Scrolling is a painful and lengthy process
-Touch pad not very sensitive, doesn't register multiple taps
-Not a "true shuffle." It just randomly picks songs, even if it's been played before.
-Audio quality is subpar
-Video function is laggy
Pros-
-Cheap

i cant find anything wrong with this mp3. i love it!! it was very inexpensive. and you u free shipping.How cool is that?! and u get 50 free songs!! i only got 25. if it gets stuck on startup, grab a paper clip and push re-set on the back. it works great!

Received this MP3 player and all the necessary accessories. Using the quick setup guide and Windows Media Player, I had a dozen albums loaded and playing in less than an hour. Please note; this is the first time I ever held an MP3 player, never mind setting it up and then using it. Very nice. Was this review helpful?
