Brenda Johnson (Kyra Sedgwick) arrives from Atlanta to lead the LAPD's Priority Homicide Division, the special division that deals with explosive high-profile criminal cases. Almost immediately, her mix of brassy toughness and Southern sass begins to rub the mostly male policemen the wrong way. They resent this eccentric, folksy, and occasionally neurotic woman running the show. But when it comes to her CIA-trained interrogation skills, they're forced to admit that she's a pro's pro, a psychological surgeon who gets inside the subjects' minds and draws out their darkest secrets and confessions. Kyra Sedgwick is an awesome actress. I got into the
show during it's forth season & needed to backtrack a
season to see what I was missing. I might go back even
farther now to see the first 2 seasons also.
DVD quality sound/pix big improvement over std
definition TV broadcast, plus no commercials. Would
have paid double what i paid for complete third season! Was this review helpful?

Well written, well acted and well produced - this is one great program I now have the first three seasons and we are watching the fourth on TV. A great series that pulls a great share for a cable program. You will love this show if you like trying to out wit the criminal mind. Was this review helpful?
