5 of 5 Very happy with the pen Monday, June 23, 2008 A Customer from Somerset, KY
Upon reading the other reviews I was very surprised because I have experienced no issues with my pen that I received. The pen retracts with no issues and I am constantly using the pen. I have had no issues with any kind of ink leakage. As far as quality, I am by no means a pen expert but I am impressed with the feel of the pen along with the consistent writing ability. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and think that the pen I received was well worth $10. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A Fine Writing Instrument Sunday, June 22, 2008 A Customer from Memphis, TN
This Waterman pen is excellent quality - it writes very smoothly and feels good in your hand. No its not a $100 pen but I didn't expect one for $10. The price can't be beat! Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Very Nice pen Sunday, June 22, 2008 A Customer from Apopka, FL
Would like to have 10 more. Love the pen. I am sure I will loose this pen like ones before it. But for now- I enjoy it. Was this review helpful?

2 of 5 Hardly a Waterman!! Sunday, June 22, 2008 A Customer from Placida,FL
Well -- it really is, but I was expecting something much more elegant -- in keeping with the brand. This is just a standard quality ball-point pen, certainly not worth the $10 I paid... Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Not Even Worth $10 Sunday, June 22, 2008 A Customer from Arkadelphia, AR
I ordered two of the Classic Waterman ballpoint pens in black recently, and was extremely disappointed with them. I've come to expect that Waterman pens don't have the heft of other premium brands, so the light weight surprise me. However, I did expect to receive the pen pictured in the ad, instead receiving a model with an even cheaper pocket clip than advertised. I tried contacting customer service, but never received an answer. I suspect they were just glad to get these out of the warehouse, and don't care whether the customer is satisfied with their purchase. My advice? Save your money, and buy a better pen. 1 of 5 Fathers Day Present Gone Bad Sunday, June 22, 2008 Morgan from Houston, TX
The pen didn't work, husband opened it for a Father's Day present. He wrote with it for and it immediately ran all over the place,he got it on his hands and touched his shirt before knowing. It made a mess and I was VERY embarassed. Was this review helpful?

After 3 days of having it in my shirt pocket, proudly displaying it to folks as a "birthday" gift, I suddenly noticed a little bleeding of the ink at the tip of the pen, which I cleaned it off with a paper napkin. However, within two hours thereafter, it ruined my shirt with a blotch of ink.
Completely disappointed in the quality of the name called Waterman. I will return the additional two that I have purchased as gift items.

When I saw that you were selling a Waterman Pen for $10, I thougt "what a great deal" . i should have been thinking "this is too good to be true"
Poorly made and while I bought them for gifts, they will stay in my 'junk drawer' to be used wehn I need something for the kids to write with. Based on the product, I hope they have an adequate supply of ink in them.
"Buyer Beware" shold be posted on the web site to remind people
that not everything is as advertised. Was this review helpful?

I see that it is no longer for sale-that is the best thing I can say.
What a disappointment. Certainly not worth $10 dollars. If I paid 2 or 3 dollars I would probably be upset. Was this review helpful?

Yeah - it isn't a snazzy piece of electronics, just a pen. Was it worth the discounted price? Probably. Would I have paid more? No. It is a metal pen and has a little heft, however it is missing the smooth action of a high quality writing instrument. Was this review helpful?

I purchased this for my father as he loves pens. I was thoroughly unimpressed with the look and feel of this pen and, upon receiving the pen from me, the first thing my father noticed was the fact that it doesn't retract without you having to remember to pull on both ends. He'll never carry it in his pocket and, I suspect, it will sit on his desk while he uses a drugstore rollerball. I also didn't see any refill in the package (which someone else mentioned came with his). Was this review helpful?

Looks like a cheap plastic pen with very low end packaging. I didn't REalize Waterman even made pens at this low level. Had oreder 2 for gifts - but that isea is out the window ! better off with a $2 BIC Was this review helpful?

You might think you're getting a $99 pen for $10, but, no, you're getting a $10 pen for $10. This is indeed a real Waterman (the silver-embossed blue box inside a white cardboard sleeve with a rectangular cutout window is consistent with other Waterman's I've purchased), but as pens go, it's of cheap construction. The body is metal with interior plastic threading, and in the hand it feels light-weight with no heft. And, yes, the point sometimes fails to retract. It does come with a genuine Waterman refill. My advice: You'd be better off with a metal Parker Jotter purchased at the local drugstore. Was this review helpful?

This can not be a real Waterman. It looks cheap and does not work very well. Do not waste money on this item. Was this review helpful?

This can't possibly be an authentic "waterman". Very cheap quality. Cannot even get the pen to retract after being extended without the top falling off.
Save your money and buy a BIC for a tenth of the price.
A total rip-off. Was this review helpful?

I feel very lucky that I was able to buy the Waterman Classic Ballpoint Pen. It works beautifully, is a joy to hold, and it looks "classically" beautiful. I only wish I could buy a couple more at that price! Was this review helpful?
