While I usually rave about the Cisco/Linksys products, this particular model is one to avoid. Although it has an impressive list of features for the price, it does not perform as advertised. I have had two of these units for a year, and every version of firmware was worse than the last. Whining noises, DHCP issues, They don't permit FTP transfers, ICL issues, Wireless issues, etc. The company has been slow to address these issues, the phone staff dont have info in their db, and their forums are full of folks sharing the same concerns. I wouldn't be surprised to see a recall or class action for this model. As I write this(2/2008), the current firmware is from October 2007, and has many of these issues. It's possible that they have been addressed since I wrote this, so check their forums to be sure. I have two of these myself, and recommended them to about a half dozen clients. I wish I had not done so, and hope that they get their act together so the product delivers the functionality it advertises. Mike www.getthepictureframing.com

It is a very good router and as an overall it is worth every penny, but some stuff needs to be fixed like: some network g will not work with it, I hope they offer a couple of firmware updates that can work for wan using ip v6, there is a couple of improvemnets you can change some settings with out restarting, but it would have been better if you didn't have to restart at all.
