4 of 5 good product at a great price Tuesday, March 24, 2009 viki from Mountain View, CA
This headset was very easy to set up with my phone. I found that the headset had better sound quality in my car than in my apartment, which was weird, but I dint mind as I use the headset more while driving than anything else.
I also tried pairing the headset with my Macbook, and it works just fine. The instructions did not say the headset could not be paired with 2 devices at a time, but after figuring that out, it was pretty easy.
I like that it came with the around the ear attachment, as i have always had problems with in the ear headsets, and the attachment made it perfect. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 volume is toooooo low Tuesday, March 17, 2009 Jack from Hartford, CT
light weight....easy to pair....but
The volume is so low that I can barely hear the other party on the call even I'm along in my bedroom!
The turning phone volume down trick the other reviewer mentioned didn't work for my G1.
In all, useless. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 simple bluetoothe device at great price Thursday, January 15, 2009 M.V. from manville, RI
At first, I was not so satisfied with this unit. I could barely hear people talking to me. But deleted the unit from the phone after initial pairing, then turned the phone volume to zero and repaired. Then as I turned up the phone volume, unit got more audible. There is no volume control on the unit. People tell me that the conversation is clear so I have kept it. Especially at such a great price. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 It works but needs some improvement Thursday, January 15, 2009 Thanh from Frederick, Maryland
The headset arrives quickly from buy.com as usual.
The headset was really small but so was the sound volume. Driving on highway with this headset is unusable. Can't hear anything at highway speed (close windows and door). There is NO volume adjustment on this headset.
Pairing was quick and easy. Re-pairing with the phone when headset is turned on is also quick and reliable. No problem at all.
There is NO "dial last number" function with this headset. It just turns off the headset if the button is hold down.
Voice tag dialing was also working well.
I was told by people on the other end of the line that the sound is clear so it must have been fine.
NO charger provided. There is a cable to plug to the USB port to charge the headset. So you have to have a computer to use this headset! The small end of the cable to plug to the phone is very small. Normal mini USB-A plug won't fit.
The head set causes some pain on my ears in about 10 minutes of wearing it.
Overall it's good to have, especially for the promotion Buy.com was offering. But it leaves some desire. I really wish it offered louder sound.

3 of 5 Cheap, Light, but semi-effective Wednesday, January 07, 2009 Marshall from Cincinnati, OH
I bought this blue tooth headset for my wife who had previously used the Jawbone as her main headset. The jawbone was great with regards to reception, clarity and noise-canceling, but it never fit her ear just right (although it fits mine just fine). I thought this would be a cheap alternative for her.
We were pleased to see that the ease of use and size/weight/fit were exactly what we were expecting. It is hardly noticeable when you are wearing it, for both you and others (since it is so small).
We are, however, somewhat disappointed at the signal quality. It seems that you can't venture even a few feet from your phone before you enter periods of static. The static isn't heard on the other line (we tested this by having me call her from my own phone in the same room). Its actually static from a loss in signal strength from the headset communicating to the phone. Even in your pocket, there are times when the conversation is difficult to hear because of background noise interruption.
Overall its an ok 'gamble' for a headset at this price point. I would recommend the Jawbone if you want superb audio quality though. Was this review helpful?
