Editor's Note

This collection contains all the sequel chapters in the demonic doll saga.

CHILD'S PLAY 2: Chucky is back! After the fire, the toy factory wants to dispel the bad publicity, but are they in for a surprise as Chucky is back on Andy's trail and this time he intends to win.

CHILD'S PLAY 3: Chucky, the notorious killer is back to wreak more mayhem as he continues his quest to possess a child's body.

BRIDE OF CHUCKY: Chucky returns, and this time he's got a girlfriend, Tiffany. Their way of having a good time is going on a murder-spree road trip, killing any and everything that gets in their way. Along for the ride are Jade and Jesse, a pair of teens on the run from their uncaring parents. As the body count rises, Jade and Jesse must deal with the consequences of their killer dolls.

SEED OF CHUCKY: Everyone's favorite plastic slasher doll returns for a fifth installment of this popular horror series. Apparently Chucky and his equally murderous bride, Tiffany (voiced by Jennifer Tilly), had a child, which has grown up in a cage as part of a heavy-metal ventriloquist act in England.

"[T]he first two can't compete with the humor- and Tilly-enhanced BRIDE and SEED OF CHUCKY." -- Grade: B 10/27/2006 p.59

Classic-Horror 6 of 10
[3] As-is, Chucky's third demonic adventure is a woeful failure. Devoid of any charm, burdened by a director who doesn't seem to understand the appeal or comedy of the series, strung together by an absurd plot, and hampered by an inadequate production length, it's a real shame that for eight years this film existed as the swan song of horror's favorite little SOB. Luckily, Universal Studios got their act straight and followed this dusty video store placeholder with the immensely more entertaining Bride of Chucky. - Dana Gravesen

ReelViews 7 of 10
[Bride] Although much of the dialogue in Bride of Chucky is ripe, it's laced with one-liners that are a slice above the banal norm. The barbed repartee between Chucky and Tiffany is especially enjoyable. The special effects used to animate the dolls are flawless, even to the point of reproducing human-like mannerisms. Physically, Chucky looks much like he did in the other Child's Play movies, albeit worse for wear (after being patched up by Tiffany, he reminds one of Dr. Frankenstein's failed experiments). Tiffany, who does her own makeup and hair, bears a startling resemblance to the actress who provides her voice. - James Berardinelli

Washington Post 7 of 10
[2] "Child's Play 2" is an inevitable sequel that's not as good as its progenitor, but better than most movies with the numbers 2 through 8 in their titles...Director John Lafia (who co-wrote the first "Child's Play") is not above the occasional sophomoric joke: Andy's foster parents are called the Simpsons but act like the Huxtables...Since the focus is squarely on Chucky, the main question is how advanced the animatronic effects are from the first film: The answer is, not that much. Chucky's little face is certainly more expressive than the average serial killer's and he does move with an endearingly awkward doll-like gait. - Richard Harrington

Chicago Sun-Times 6 of 10
[Seed] Tilly has lots of good one-liners ("They're executing Martha Stewart this morning") and argues convincingly that if she had played Erin Brockovich instead of Julia Roberts, she wouldn't have had to wear a push-up bra...If you're thinking of "Seed of Chucky" as a horror movie, you can forget about it. It's not scary. If you do not by now find Chucky and the other killer dolls tiresome, I do (this is their fifth movie). If you like the way Jennifer Tilly has fun with her image (and, in what can only be called selfless generosity, with Gina Gershon's image), "Seed of Chucky" is a movie to be seen on television. Free television. - Roger Ebert
