David Twohy returns to direct this feature, further exploring themes established in the first movie, and expanding his vision with some incredible special effects work. On the run from a group of Bounty Hunters, Riddick|is singled out by an Air Elemental, Aereon (Judi Dench), as the one man who can stop the evil Necromongers from taking over the Universe. Again, he finds himself at the heart of a battle, as the human race's only hope for survival.
