The Aaron Spelling-produced television drama CHARMED follows the adventures of three modern-day witches juggling their supernatural abilities with the demands of everyday life. The Halliwell sisters, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), Piper (Holly Marie Combs), and Prudence (Shannon Doherty)--later replaced by Rose McGowan as half-sister Paige--use their magical powers to protect innocent people from demons while struggling to rise above the childish bickering of sisterhood to work together as a team. Great show about magical sisters. It's light and fun with eye candy to spare (for both genders). Excellent cast, pretty good writing, and not-bad production values make Charmed an easy show to be...well...charmed by. (I had to do it once!) Its strength does lie in the powers of the three. The lead actresses take what could be a campy sci-fi romp about witches, and turn it something much more real and concrete...The Spelling formula of three women proves powerful to this day. It's a joy to watch three adult women juggle their superhero powers with the mundane grind of life in their late twenties, and never feel that one side is compromised for the sake of the other. - Brett Cullum

if you are a fan of the charmed series, than this complete collection is every episode in the eight years it ran on tv. That adds up to a whole lot of witchery. so if you missed an episode or want to watch one again, you have it all at your disposal. that's as good as it gets.If you're a fan, that is. I know i was sorry to see it end, but they left us with quite a volume of there work. compare that to the original Star Treck series, which ran three seasons at best. This, i might add, would be another good purchase; if you are a fan, that is. i am, lol.
