 Editor's Note
The Aaron Spelling-produced television drama CHARMED follows the adventures of three modern-day witches juggling their supernatural abilities with the demands of everyday life. The Halliwell sisters, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), Piper (Holly Marie Combs), and Prudence (Shannon Doherty)--later replaced by Rose McGowan as half-sister Paige--use their magical powers to protect innocent people from demons while struggling to rise above the childish bickering of sisterhood to work together as a team. This collection presents the series in its entirety for a total of eight seasons.

3 of 5 Charmed Limited Edition Series Tuesday, March 03, 2009 Denise H from Worcester, MA
On a positive note, the packaging is superb. I love my Book of shadows that houses the DVD's. The series is fun to watch and enjoyable. As far as the discs, Paramount should be ashamed. I have bought many DVD collections in my life, but these are inferior beyond excuse. Many are spattered with a gluey snot that I cannot remove, and it makes parts of the disc unplayable. I understand that this has been an ongoing problem with this collection, and that Paramount will replace these gooey discs, but how are they getting to the retail sellers in that condition? And any of the nighttime scenes are so darkened that you can see only that... darkness. Both my TV set & my DVD player are new, and are mid range models & play other discs well, so it's not my equipment. I feel that Paramount should invest in a few quality control guidelines before joining in on the retail front. Was this review helpful?
