I replaced an old, damaged, Clicker garage door monitor wuth the currently available unit. I had the old unit over five years and was very accustomed to it. The new unit is easier to install, and adding an extra door is simple. The one year battery life is a good thing; the old unit needed battery replacement in 4-6 months, and finally, the new unit RF performance is much better. I miss the audible beeper that sounded whenever any door went toi open status and every 15 minutes if the door remained open. Also, the old unit had a separate pair of lights for each door.
