This is one great buy! I was able to consolidate all the files from three other hard drives and countless treasured files old DVD backups all in one convenient location. Finally, everything I have ever done on a computer is in one logical place! This Calvary 1TB unit also allowed me to clear a nearly full 500gb internal hard drive which I now use as my main drive, replacing the older, slower and smaller original drive. I cannot BELIEVE I waited so long to do this. Hopefully you will not wait much longer either. One point I want to mention is that like all high capacity drives, it does run a little hot so make sure you place it in an open area with good ventilation.
