A SPIRITED BEGINNING is a prequel to the first animated/live-action CASPER feature, introducing the friendliest ghost you know and explaining how he met the other ghouls at Applegate Manor. After being stranded, Casper meets young Chris Carson, a lonely kid who decides to teach Casper how to be a proper ghost. The star-studded cast includes Steve Guttenberg, Lori Laughlin, Rodney Dangerfield, Michael McKean, Ben Stein, Sherman Hemsley, Edie McClurg, Debi Mazar, and the voices of James Earl Jones and Pauly Shore.
