5 of 5 Does the job Sunday, March 29, 2009 S White from Greenville, SC
This Casio CW E60 does the job. It's not elegant, but it's functional, and cheap. So, two out of three. I just hate trying to decipher all the stuff I scribble on CDs! At least I can think a little before putting it on, and it is presentable to give to others.
Care must be taken to get the ribbon in the right place, as someone else has said. The software is klunky to say the least, but once you get used to its klunky ways you get over it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 I like this product Monday, February 02, 2009 R R Owens from Georgia
You have to read the instructions and follow them to the letter.
Make sure the ribbon is tight when you install it. Keep the text simple as possible and you will see a very professional looking disk. For the price, you can't beat this printer. I am very well pleased with it. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great Sunday, January 04, 2009 A Customer from Chicago Ill
I have had zero problems writing to the first 60 cds using Taiyo Yuden satin gold cdr's. Smooth writing. I write short and sweet to maximize the ribbon use. It still works out between 3 and 4 cents each cd. That is my only complaint. The other reviewer may have not tighten up the slack on the ribbon. My experience with the above cdr's has been great. The software is easy with good options. I hope this lasts for many many cdr's. I will give it that test. Was this review helpful?

I was looking forward to producing professional labels for a project. The first problem occurred loading the ribbon-it wrinkled no matter how carefully it was loaded into the machine. It printed the first label with square smudges around the outline of the label text. The second CD froze in the machine and had to be extracted with only a partial label printed. I don't think in twenty attempts a single label printed with all the letters clear and complete. On the twenty first CD the ribbon broke. All in all this was a total waste of money and would not recommend it despite the low cost.
