3 of 5 Good But Small Quick Access Tuesday, May 20, 2008 A Customer from Roswell, NM
Is a well built and mostly well designed camera bag. The quick access compartment is a bit too small for SLRs to say it really is quick access (the opening needs to be 1/8" larger in both directions and it needs to be 1/4-3/4" deeper for the lens and strap). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 small but functional Thursday, January 24, 2008 A Customer from Homewood Illinois
We were looking for a bag to keep all of our camera supplies. Were are keeping a Nikon d40 with two lenses a canon g6 a Sony camcorder and a canon elph as well as all wires and battery chargers in this bag. Although it is tight we still have room for a couple of more lenses. Our 15 inch wide screen laptop fits in computer compartment but it is very tight. Anything bigger will not fit. The D40 fits in top compartment with smaller lense. This bag fits are purposes perfectly but it is by no means a large bag. It is very compact. Straps for the tripod are not very long and it is difficult to attach. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Small is good -- too small? Wednesday, October 11, 2006 Charles Hartman from Mystic, CT
A big DSLR, like a Canon EOS, *will* fit in the upper, camera compartment, but only if you move the velcro-attached "floor" of the compartment down, which makes the lower, lens compartment too small for the velcro-attached "walls" to work quite the way they were intended. If I had two or three extra lenses it might be too cramped.
I still like the bag very much. It's very sturdy, well-padded, comfortable to wear, and conveniently arranged (quick access to camera and computer), and it has a small but reasonable number (and size) of extra compartments. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Quality Monday, October 02, 2006 Brant from Portland, OR
Excellent quality. Fits everything you need. Nikon D50 with 18-70 lens just barely fits in camera compartment, but you pretty much have to take out the nifty contraption that is velcroed in there. I carry MacBook Pro 15", DV camera, extra lens for the D50, Pentax Optio 555 point and shoot camera in its case, portable hard drive, and all cords, extra batteries, tapes and anything else you might want for these toys. I still have room for more. It really is a pretty small backpack which is amazing for how much you can put in there. I checked all the others. Lowe Pro just wasn't the same quality. I would be willing to roll this baby down a staircase with all my stuff in it. It is really well built and tough. Was this review helpful?
