I brought this case especially for my WD passport portable hdd. As said by a customer below, its a bit big, but the case is strong and it fits all the cables and stuff and i am sure the hdd will never be damaged. A co-worker had the Case Logic External Hard Drive Case and having received a Maxtor back-up drive for Christmas thought this would be worth it. I was right! I believe this particular case may also work well for a Nuvi type GPS or the older Archos media devises. Buy.Com was excellent to deal with! Was this review helpful?

I bought this case for my new WD Passport hard drive and it does not fit it securely. The inside of the case is about an inch longer than the Passport and I am concerned that this extra room will lessen the protection it offers because the hard drive slides around easily. That said, for less than $20 dollars, I'm not going to return it since it'll be going in another bag anyways. Was this review helpful?
