5 of 5 Does color add to the movie? Friday, May 20, 2005 Matt Wilk from Bound Brook, NJ
Purists of this outstanding, cult classic movie, may be divided over the addition to color of this wonderfully macabre thriller. Not much for shock value, but truly a classic horror movie. The acting is sublime and powerful, and the local cast offers some wonderful, memorable performance. Check out the land lady, for example. I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Hildgoss at a movie expo in 2000 and she is a wonderful person who shared a lot of insight. If you have not viewed, buy this - you will not be disappointed Was this review helpful?

Hi you horror lover:
I saw this movie a long time ago..it's black and white..(unless they change it.) and it can still kick Ass!!,
The movie is entirely of this woman, who arrives at this town, and start's a new life there..she get's a job at a church, playing the organ..
The problem is that she feels she is being watch..all the time.
then she start's seeing dead looking people who are always trying to grab her and take her away.
One day she meets this nice good looking guy, who also moved into the apt. building she stays..and they go to this Carnival, (that is closed, and looks eerie). All of a sudden there are those dead looking people trying to drag her into the ocean..she starts acting strange herself..and the good looking guy is wondering what the hell is wrong with her.
Anyway, this movie has spunk..action, dead looking zombie like people. a must see movie..
And I'm still waiting for a Re-make, because this movie, if it was re-done would do really well!!
