We have really enjoyed this game. Not something that you will play everyday, but once a month, we break it out and kill a few hours with it as a family. We love Carnival Games! My children are 10 & 15 and the whole family enjoys playing. Lots of mini games to play. Different games seem better for different skill levels so we all have our favorites. This game is great for the whole family. Both young and old can enjoy the variety of activities offered as you navigate your way through the carnival. The game play is enhanced as you win prizes and are allowed to trade-up for large ones. This game offers so much--challenges, skill, fun, competition, and the ability to unlock new games and prizes! Game is easy to play and it offers prompts before each game to show you how to play with the controller and also reads the directions aloud to you. This feature is great for non-gamers or young children who may not be reading fluently yet. I highly recommend this game to everyone, you won't be disappointed! Was this review helpful?

I got this for my 3 year old based on the recommendation of a friend. My 3 year old has been pretty good on the computer and we got a Wii to see if he'd be able to figure it out. He loves this game! He is able to figure out most of the motion and the way the game plays it allows him to win tickets to buy new outfits (i.e. cowboy hat, bicycle helmet) and other accessories (i.e. scuba tank) for his Carnival character to wear around the park. Many of the current Wii games are notably poorly executed as reviewers have noted both professionally and in these reviews. We have been disappointed in many we have purchased to date. I purchased "Carnival Games" in an attempt to find some non-violent entertainment for my grandsons (4 & 9 years). This carnival themed collection meets that requirement and is also fun and entertaining. One can quibble over the execution of these games but overall the entire family enjoys playing it. The four year old has taken it over and is having a great time 'winning' the costume 'prizes' in an attempt to complete his wardrobe. At 59 I found it interesting in the first go around and playable still in the company of the children. I have been a computer gamer since 1995 and presently play RPGs both online and off, most notably DAOC, Guild Wars, Morrowind, Mass Effect, etc. Was this review helpful?

I ordered this game for my nephew for Christmas 2007. I decided to purchase most of my gifts this year via the internet and Buy.com was dependable. The game arrived within a few days of ordering. The price was comparable to Toys R Us, who was sold out of this game, as well as Target. This was a popular game for kids this year. This game is fun for our family, 2 adults, 2 kids 8 & 4, it's challenging enough for the 8 yr old but easy enough for the 4 year old. There is enough games to play for variety, we don't end up playing the same one over and over. I would recommend it Was this review helpful?
